Argh but then the parents bedroom wardrobe was alerted to, the other room with hgh shelves in the wardrobe

Yet again, the wardrobe units in the children's bedroom of the apartment were of the full height built-in type and were white, they were not a yellowish colour.  Identical units were fitted in the children's and parent's bedroom.  See below.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

Trying to understand that unusual post which has an underlying truth to it, for it covers another of the many variations that could have occurred and that no one has really thought through.

Witness statement of Kate Marie Healy, on the 4th of May 2007, at 2.20 p.m.

Yesterday, after the daily routine, Madeleine and the twins went into the bedroom and were put in their beds at around 7.30.

////////////////////////

At around 10pm, the witness came to check on the children. She went into the apartment by the side door, which was closed, but unlocked, as already said, and immediately noticed that the door to her children's bedroom was completely open, the window was also open, the shutters raised and the curtains open, while she was certain of having closed them all as she always did.

Faced with this altered situation, she verified that the twins were in their beds, unlike Madeleine, who had disappeared. The cover was neatly pulled back and the toys were on the pillow as usual.

Your recollection is mistaken.
There is no doubt that Madeleine vanished from her bed in the room she shared with her siblings.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

We still have to consider Mercury's idea that Madeleine could have moved herself from one room to the other. All possibilities have to be considered and only thrown out if they become impossible.  Moving from one room to another is not impossible.

The problem isn't what bed Madeleine was missing from ... but that she was missing not only from that but from the apartment.

The non-existence of the shelf is provable and a journalist's error ... in my opinion there is no point in introducing another meaningless factoid to the mix and putting words into the mouth of witnesses without giving an appropriate cite.

Clutching the pink Cuddle Cat toy which has been a constant source of comfort to her since it was left lying in Madeleine's bed the night she was taken, Kate says: "I want to tell her we love her very much. She knows we're looking for her, that we're doing absolutely everything and we'll never give up."

Madeleine's favourite 'Cuddle Cat' toy was 'placed out of her reach'
Last updated at 15:54 12 August 2007

According to a report in the Sunday Mirror, Kate McCann knew instantly that Madeleine had been abducted when she saw that the toy had been moved from her sleeping daughter's arms and placed on a ledge way beyond the four-year-old's reach.

Lori Campbell seems to have got it right first time round ... but the journalist who may have lifted her copy from the Sunday Mirror definitely did not.

As far as the non existent shelf in Madeleine's room is concerned ... that has already been addressed, complete with crime scene photograph ...you appear to be ignoring members who have gone to the trouble of resourcing facts for your information.  It is becoming tiresome.

Do you think that post has proven your statement or proven something else?

Reasons I don't think it has proven what you set out to do:

1.  I don't know Lori Campbell at all.  The thread title at UK Justice is "The Cuddlecat on the shelf myth by Mirror reporter Lori Campbell"  You have not quoted her (Lori Campbell) as saying that.

2.  The article that quotes this says that expression comes from a "police source", so why are we blaming Lori Campbell?

3. The article  that cites Lori Campbell says "Clutching the pink Cuddle Cat toy which has been a constant source of comfort to her since it was left lying in Madeleine's bed the night she was taken, Kate says: "I want to tell her we love her very much. She knows we're looking for her, that we're doing absolutely everything and we'll never give up."" and this was report on the 8th (just 5 days after).

So can anyone find the quote from Lori Campbell that uses the Police source so she writes "According to a report in the Sunday Mirror, Kate McCann knew instantly that Madeleine had been abducted when she saw that the toy had been moved from her sleeping daughter's arms and placed on a ledge way beyond the four-year-old's reach.
The paper quotes a police source as saying: "When Kate tucked Madeleine up in bed earlier in the evening she had the toy tightly in her arms as she did every night.
"So Kate was terrified when she spotted it had been left in a place too high for her to reach.""

Follow up questions:

1.  Was the Daily Mail Australia article actually written by Lori Campbell?  I can't see who it is attributed to.

2.  Did Lori Campbell ever say "Kate McCann knew instantly that Madeleine had been abducted when she saw that the toy had been moved from her sleeping daughter's arms and placed on a ledge way beyond the four-year-old's reach." or not?

3. If the 2 question above can be answered, how was she able the to say these two conflicting statements just 4 days apart?

I don't really have an opinion on any of that, Robittybob1.  Mainly because I think it is all an irrelevance in the disappearance of a little girl.

The only significance that Cuddle Cat had to Madeleine's case was the supposition that a cadaver dog had alerted to it ... as forum members have determined in another thread, that is so unlikely it is safe to say that supposition is demonstrably wrong.

There isn't a lot going on in Madeleine's case at the moment that we know about which makes constructive discussion difficult.
I don't think there is any excuse for filling the vacuum with impossible theories which have no basis in reality and are less than interesting to boot.

I was not mistaken in any recollection, I know exactly what was in all the statements,  I wasnt making any recollection, I was going with the speculative flow (s), tryng to help Robby square his circle iyswim

Good luck with fndng the one where Kate says she found the toy on a high shelf , it doesnt exist, what might exist is others repeating the myth in the papers as part of news reporting or magazine article or worse a documentary.

Look carefully -the laundry pile is still there on the shelf IMO - the door and jacket block view of most of the pile but the extreme front left corner of the pile is visible
