terfenadine is only available in the UK on a named-patient basis through specialist importers. There are no longer any licensed preparations containing terfenadine available in the UK (November 2005)

For anyone who's read the above and is putting 2+2 together to make a sedation theory complete with tumbling tot off a wobbly chair they should also note that terfenadine is a non-sedating antihistamine.

I don't think Gerry had this drug....  it makes no sense...perhaps the statement was taken incorrectly.

if you google fibre dos fenos...hay fever in Portuguese.....and look at Portuguese wikipaedia  terfenadina is the first drug that comes up as a treatment for hay fever...
