The French Video - The White House farm Murders

The Great Criminal Affairs - 28 - Jeremy Bamber - Murderer by Adoption.

Here is the French YouTube video where Julie is interviewed after the trial about her relation ship with Jeremy.   I just love the bit at the very end where Julie is interviewed and says, "I feel something for him...but...I just think he is a very sad man"  and shakes her head.  That says it all for me.    8@??)(

Thats a spanking hot video but I wish there was an original copy in English going about.  You can just about make out what she is saying over the interpreters voice.  Would it be possible to get a transcript of it??   >@@(*&)

Possibly huggy.  It will take a while though but i do believe it would be worth it just to have Julie's comments on record for all to see.  Those revelations about his actions at the funeral for instance are worth noting.  It just goes to show that it was all an act as far as he was concerned in front of his public.  Egotistical preoccupation to be sure.

I wonder if he was hiding under his jumper because he knew he was 'banged to rights' but at the murder trial, he really thought he'd get off and didn't need to hide.

I don't think that is it.  I believe he decided to make the most of his notoriety and you cannot do that hiding under a cardigan.

It's so interesting to watch Julie at the funeral. She's supportive and protective of Bamber but, obviously, increasingly embarrassed by his pathetic pretence of grief.

Jeremy Bamber kicked Mike Tesko in the fanny.

I managed to make out some of what Julie said by recording it and slowing down her voice, but it wasn't possible to split the tracks and there are pieces missing where the irritating high-pitched frenchwoman's voice dominated. So a fluent French speaker is needed.

Julie used similar phrases in the ITV documentary in Spring and in her witness statements.

Erm... it was the Christmas Day before when I first knew about it..... and he had the intention of poisoning them and burning down the house and I disregarded what was said because he used to say things to shock people and I followed up with the comment that....

Then at 6 o'clock that morning.....basically that the police would pick me up and that it was four murders and a suicide. I didn't think that anyone would believe me
That was when I first realised that there was something seriously wrong... and my worst fear was that it was Jeremy that had done something.

....that he said there was nothing I could do anyway...there was nothing I could have done to have stopped it... and that there was nothing I could do now.

I was very upset at the funeral... there were no actual tears when he was supposed to be crying and as soon as we got into the car he started joking again.

He became frightened of me which is what made me become frightened of him, because he obviously was saying (pause).....was quite nervous about the fact that I wasn't prepared to cover him, if you like, any more... because my conscience wouldn't let me....I couldn't let Sheila go through any more.

I still feel something for him, but I just think (pause, shakes head).... he's a very sad man.

It's one of them cases, in'it... one of them f*ckin' cases.

She didn't have a single good word to say about him in the end which is very telling.  I wonder did she feel betrayed, hate or just relief that it was all out in the open at last.  It would be really interesting to hear what Julie has to say about it all now some 27 years on (on or off the record).

I think I will give her another call and see if she will speak to me.

A lot of relationships don't end on friendly terms and it wouldn't suprise me if horrible things were said but this was probably a unique relationship with a unique ending.
Fortunately, I've never got married, I just found someone I didn't like and bought them a house, cutting the marriage bit out in between  @)(++(*

It was something I heard some years ago said by Sid James, Don't get married, just find someone you don't like and buy them a house.

Great work as usual myster.   8((()*/

I think Jeremy Bamber seriously underestimated what Julie was capable of.  He assumed that her infatuation for him would carry him through to the end but he hadn't reckoned on the intensity of her jealousy of his relationship with Brett Collins. Had he not treated her in such a despicable manner I don't think she would have come forward and told when she did.
