Hi thanks for letting me join

(ty6e[ I joined this site as I am very interested in the case of Luke Mitchell.I have always felt very uneasy about the conviction and the fact that the evidence was circumstantial. It disturbs me to think that a lot of the evidence for the defence wasn't put forward at the time and the media seemed to have judged him guilty before the case even reached trial 8(8-)).

Welcome mermaid.  I don't know very much about the Luke Mitchell case but he appears to have accepted the judgement and what followed as being final.
De troothe has the annoying habit of coming to the surface just when you least expect it!!

Hi, welcome.

I've read a little about the case, although I don't know all the details.

I find the fact he had that knife with her initials marked on troubles me.

Like the prosecution, I can't see how this would be a fitting tribute to someone he loved, her having been stabbed to death.

Like the prosecution, I can't see how this would be a fitting tribute to someone he loved, her having been stabbed to death.

She had her throat cut and was very nearly decapitated.
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.
