The key word is can, not does.  And you have not covered how such information may be used and when it can't.

And neither have you... I have provided a cite.... You have provided  your opinion

Offline ShiningInLuz

You have provided no cite so it's opinion

What's up, old man?

No.

Carry on... Without any sort of cite, we have no idea how accurate your claim is... It is therefore mere opinion

Check my blog.
Why should I want to read your blog.. You obviously  can't provide any cite.. Fair enough

Offline Vertigo Swirl

Check my blog.
On this forum cites have to be provided otherwise they are considered merely opinion.  "Check my blog" is not a cite.

Feel free to consider it as opinion.

I have better things to do - there is a backlog of dish-washing beckoning.

Goodnight.

If you have made a statement not of fact but of opinion please amend your post accordingly.  Thank you.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

The work is based not on a single cite but dozens.

There is no requirement to provide dozens of cites, just one would do - how about you cut and paste the relevant cite from your blog?

I really doubt sil is correct...portugal simply could not be so backward in its forensic science

The Portuguese National DNA database can include DNA profiles from: volunteers, unidentified corpses (for civil identification purposes), missing persons or their relatives, crime scene stains, persons convicted to not less than three years in prison, and laboratory and crime scene personnel who collect and analyze samples.

http://dnapolicyinitiative.org/genewatch-forensic-dna/arguido-or-no-the-portuguese-dna-database/

The cite I have provided explains the DNA position in Portugal very  well
