Members are reminded that cites must be provided in accordance with the forum rules. On several occasions recently cites have been requested but never provided. Asking for a cite is not goading but compliance.

From this moment onward, posts making significant claims which are not backed up by a cite will be removed.

Sunny - now go back another 15 minutes through the statements and understand what is happening from 8:50 to 9:05 and you will find there are so many people around McCann's apartment no sensible kidnapper would be any where in the area IMO.

A good point Brie.  Quotes should always be accompanied by links to the article, statement or newspaper report where they originated.

I'm wondering if the problem relates to posting from smart phones.  I still have a desk top set up and can have multiple files open to copy both the text and the URL into a post, but I'd hate to have to do this on a phone.

If text can be copied and pasted from a smart phone so can the URL

I  don't even use a smart phone, so I'm not sure if a double cut and paste can be done.    I know Davel uses his phone for posting.  You tend to get Twitter sized posts with no quotes or URLs.  I've seen him say he'll post the link later, but I doubt if it is ever followed up.

As long as your smart phone is reasonably smart it is fairly straightforward.
