A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.

I believe there is resentment that Madeleine's parents have not been punished.
You are quite right to suggest that the "class" issue has played an important part in this.
However the McCanns are working class who became doctors and now they are viewed as" middle class" who got away with leaving their children .
This class business has always been confusing.

Isn't education a wonderful thing?  Is there a category of working class with a degree??

So do Liverpool supporters hate everyone who appears in the Sun, by association?

Not Liverpool supporters, Liverpool in general and no they don’t, just individuals who sell there soul to them.

Define “sell there (sic) soul”.  Have you other examples of individuals who Liverpudlians now hate for selling “there” soul to the Murdoch devil?

It's all very biblical.
I guess "Murdoch" has replaced Satan, Beelzebub , Lucifer.

Well yes you did, when I asked you do Liverpool supporters hate everyone who appears in the Sun, by association, and you replied in the affirmative, that all Liverpudlians do hate those who sell “there” souls to them.

Sectarianism played a part.  Sectarianism is accentuated by local football teams, dialects, mannerisms, history, religion, maybe even looks and family names.

I take it you have researched back to 2000 when Gerry was Celtic's doctor?

No in fact I never knew the vital piece of information,  How did they do that year?  Did any of the team go AWOL?

There's many working class people with degrees and professional careers. All are middle-class by income but not all embrace middle-class values.
