What plans existed for the Friday eve dinner?
« on: June 18, 2019, 11:09:39 AM »
Once again apologies if this has been discussed previously.

The group arrived on Sat 28th Apr for a 7 night stay.  On the first eve the adults and children ate together at the Millennium restaurant.  Thereafter the group booking was made for the rest of the week at the Tapas bar, adults only.  Was there any talk about some different arrangement on the Friday ie cancelling the Tapas bar and going elsewhere (for a change) with or without the children?  Or including the children on the last eve at the Tapas restaurant?
Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

Interesting question, to which I don't know the answer.

However, I wonder where the T9 did eat that night. I'm certain they weren't queuing at the Tapas at 9 am  8(>((

What relevance does this have to the disappearance, out of interest?

From KM's book it seems MW took food to the parents new apartment 4G.  No mention of T7 but no doubt bitter sweet if they did eat at the Tapas bar.

An end of the week tennis event was planned, followed by a 'tennis' dinner at the Tapas. I don't suppose the children would have been included.

Following MM's disappearance the McCann's meals were delivered to their apartment.

I'm interested in why anyone would think this was a point worthy of a separate thread.  I'm entitled to be curious am I not?

I was just wondering if whoever was responsible might have realised Thursday eve was the last window of opportunity, no pun intended, if the children were going to be with the parents on the last eve ie Fri.

Was the 'tennis' dinner to be attended by T9 only or were others to be included eg Jeremy 'Jez' Wilkins?

According to KM's book the Tapas bar only catered for up to 15 diners in the evening.  So if TP 9 were occupying 9 places from 8.30pm until close of play only up to another 6 could join them but I guess nothing to prevent others turning up for drinks only?

Only one booking at the Tapas on Friday, it seems.  Some pf the T9 were at the police station until quite late, being interviewed.

Here are details of the Tapas bookings all week

Here are the interview times on 4th May

I don't think she got that right.  The seating plans show more that that number each night.  IIRC.

There is a note:  "IT IS PRESUMED THAT A NEW BOOK WAS OPENED AFTER THE INCIDENT. OLD BOOK MAY HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY PJ. HENCE DIFFERENT LOOKING FORMS."

Prior to that the forms only showed MW quests IIRC.
