Was the 'tennis' dinner to be attended by T9 only or were others to be included eg Jeremy 'Jez' Wilkins?

I think it was preceded by a tournament of some kind. Presumably all the entrants would be eligible to attend if they wished to. Quite a few others seem to have played at some point during the week.

Are we really discussing the dining arrangements in the aftermath of Madeleine's disappearance?
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Are you suggesting this is not relevant to a forum dedicated to discussing the disappearance of MM?

Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

Could you tell us why it is, please?

Sure.  From personal experience people often try and make the last night of a hol a bit different/special.  In this case T9 may well have decided to include C8 on the last night, instead of leaving them 'home alone', and given GM's 'booming Glaswegian accent' and propensity for sharing info with others he may well have alerted any would be abductor it had to be 'tonight or never'.

Conversely it seems a lot of MW guests arrived on Sat 28th Apr and departed on 5th May.  Any would be abductor may well have had other commitments on 4th May meaning the 3rd May had to be 'tonight or never'.

I think its important to consider the following:

Sat 28th Apr - Arrival - Millenium for dinner T9 and C8
Sun 29th Apr - Tapas T9 - C8 home alone -
Mon 30th Apr - Tapas T9 - C8 home alone -
Tue 1st May - Tapas T9 - C8 home alone - Mrs Fenn heard MM crying 10.30pm - 11.45pm
Wed 2nd May - Tapas T9 - C8 home alone - MM 'Why didn't you come when Shaun and I were crying?'
Thu 3rd May - Tapas T9 - C8 home alone - Disappeared
Fri 4th May -
Sat 5th May - Due to depart

Does the above hold any clues?  Potentially it shows a would be abductor had spotted a pattern and opportunities by 1st May and started entering the apartment disturbing the children.

The other rather chilling thought is that Mrs Fenn states MM was calling Daddy.  Was the would be abductor standing in the room and MM thought it was GM?  If MM was crying for over an hour calling Daddy why did she not then switch to calling Mummy in the absence of GM not appearing?

I don't think we can take Mrs Fenns statement as 100% accurate

You could say that about every statement ever taken since Statementus of Greece first took a statement in The Case of the Bewildered Goat - Athens 520 BC

Why not?  In what way do you consider it to unreliable?

The PJ weren't even remotely interested in Mrs Fenn until several months later.  Why do you think that was?

Nor in the Moyes who were staying above her.  So was it because they were never asked if they'd seen anything? Do you think the polce knocked on doors in Block 4, but forgot to knock in doors in Block 5?

We don't have a record of what she actually said.. Just a Portuguese translation.. It was taken 3 months, after the event... Could she have been mistaken with the details... I would be surprised if the children were not checked for over an hour

Show me your evidence that it's not accurate?
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

Not possible, so don't be silly.  Mrs. Fenn is dead.
