Not possible, so don't be silly.  Mrs. Fenn is dead.

Mrs Fenn claimed to have called her friend Edna Glyn to discuss MM's crying on the night so EG may well be alive and/or it may be possible to retrieve old phone records.

Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

The PJ weren't even remotely interested in Mrs Fenn until several months later.  Why do you think that was?

Indicative off a poor investigation probably.

Nor in the Moyes who were staying above her.  So was it because they were never asked if they'd seen anything? Do you think the polce knocked on doors in Block 4, but forgot to knock in doors in Block 5?

https://closeronline.co.uk/real-life/news/witnesses-kate-gerry-mccann-madeleine-holiday-paul-susan-moyes-jenny-murat/

In the above article the Moyes claim they "didn't see a soul" between 9pm and 9.30pm.  Does this mean they didn't see any member of T9 either?  I guess so.

Would they have actually seen anyone entering or leaving apartment 5a via patio doors from their vantage point on the balcony?

I don't think many of the guests were seen by PJ at the time.  Maybe Jez Wilkins was seen as he was in the vicinity at around the time  it is thought MM went missing and spoke with GM too.

The phone records are in existence I believe.
Maybe we haven't seen them because the concentration was on the main players and their phone traffic?  Presumably both ladies used a landline?  So really easy to confirm if a phone call between them took place on the requisite date and time I would imagine
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

There are a number of things to chew over in this.

I am not clear about the PJ obtaining phone records.  I don't think it is a simple as a request to the phone co., judging by the PJ-file entries.

If Mrs Fenn used a landline, it might still be possible to look her number up.  That does not help as a) I don't know if either she or EG used a landline b) they used mobiles c) the 74,104 calls/texts captured are for 2, 3 and 4 May, so if Mrs Fenn called on 1st May, that's not in the trawl.
What's up, old man?

She knew which day it was relative to Maddie's disappearance given that on the next evening she went out to her friends house to get some peace and avoid a repeat. Ergo, crying she heard was on the night of the 1st May and she went to her friend on Wed 2nd May. Maddie went missing on Thur 3rd May 2007.

As the statement is not verbaitim and in portuguese I think we cannot be sure of its accuracy. in her stateemnt mr Fenn says that Gerry spoke to her and said a little girl hd been abducted....she then goes on to say she found it strange that he only mentioned abduction and not other possibilities. I dont believe mrs fenn would find it starnge gerry only mentioned abduction...taht was part of the PJs thoughts. I think that information was suggested to her and her opinion sought.....i wonder how much more of her statement was suggested to her...all my opinion

Mrs Fenn was at home on the 3rd and didn't hear a thing until people started hollering.

According to Kate it was she who spoke with Mrs Plummy Voice, whom she told to F-off, or words to that effect.

"Then a lady appeared on a balcony – I’m fairly certain this was about 11pm, before the police arrived – and, in a plummy voice, inquired, ‘Can someone tell me what all the noise is about?’ I explained as clearly as I was able, given the state I was in, that my little girl had been stolen from her bed, to which she casually responded, ‘Oh, I see,’ almost as if she’d just been told that a can of beans had fallen off a kitchen shelf. I remember feeling both shocked and angry at this woefully inadequate and apparently unconcerned reaction. I recollect that in our outrage, Fiona and I shouted back something rather short and to the point."

It was 10:30 not 11 which is after the police were called (maybe that's the point) - 10:30 was before they were called when Mrs Fenn offered Gerry her phone to call the police. Can the McCanns do a correct timeline?  I suggest everyone should investigate their timelines.
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

The other rather chilling thought is that Mrs Fenn states MM was calling Daddy.  Was the would be abductor standing in the room and MM thought it was GM?  If MM was crying for over an hour calling Daddy why did she not then switch to calling Mummy in the absence of GM not appearing?

I'm not convinced that it was Madeleine that she heard crying /calling "Daddy" at that time. There could have been several kids crying at different times.

She was only interviewed months after the fact.

Rob's young child was ill that evening and had to be plonked in the bath.

She assumed it was Madeleine as the crying stopped when she heard that patio door closing. But how come she didn't hear / mention either of the gates opening and closing?

It would have been useful for the PJ to at least have corroborated with Edna and to have done a sound reconstruction to determine whether the source came from where she thought it did.
