Yes really.

49 --- Asked if she is aware that her failure to respond to the questions put in the cause of the investigation, which seeks to know what happened to her daughter, she replied that

yes, if the investigation so thinks.

So she never answered any questions put to her the police, ever?

The facts are ...
  • the investigation was was not into Madeleine's case
  • the investigation had given up on looking for Madeleine having decided she was dead and wasn't worth bothering about any longer
  • the investigation was now a criminal investigation into Madeleine's mother
  • to enable this to progress the PJ made her an arguida
  • this entitled her to the right to be advised by a lawyer during interrogation
  • this entitled her to the right of silence
  • the legal advice given by her lawyer was to exercise her right to silence
  • this she did
I should perhaps have mentioned that she was interrogated for many many hours immediately prior to being made an arguida (softening up ??)

Rather cynical to be asked about Madeleine by a man representing an organisation which ... in my opinion ... had already thrown the missing child to the wolves.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

You haven’t clocked the illogicality in your argument have you?  You claim Gerry had to invent an open door and a physical check to make him seem more caring and then you go on to berate him for not being caring enough to tell his wife about the moving door or to warn MO about it.  So either way Gerry is in the wrong as far as you’re concerned.  He didn’t have to invent the moving door he could simply have told police he popped his head in to check that all was well, and then he wouldn’t have had anything to report back to his wife either, and therefore would have been totally off the hook for failing to notice or report anything suspicious at the time.

I dont even think anything is remotely suspicious about it

It's just a bit more Mccann bashing IMO

From 3pm until 11pm makes for a very long and stressful day in my opinion.

That would be unbelievably long for someone in Kates mental state at that time.  In my opinion.  I bet she could hardly think straight.

But then Amaral is known for his, IMO, inhuman treatment of his suspects, isn't he ?  Leonora  Cipriano

Miniscule in relation to a time a suspect can be questioned in this country.

Great.  So it is a lie to say she refused to co-operate with the police inquiry.  At least we got that sorted.  Nearly six hours of answering their questions is alot of chat.
