And how many home secretaries.... All of whom some believe are prepared to protect two doctors from any criminal charges... Doesn't make a lot of sense does it

And there was sufficient evidence to enable the police both here and in Portugal to restart the investigation into Madeleine's disappearance with the focus very firmly fixed on the abductor/s who had taken her.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

The only people printing defamatory information in the UK were British journalists. Express newspaper group settled out of court with the McCanns and their friends because they knew the stories didn't have satisfactory sources. When questioned by Leveson the journalists admitted that this was true. I don't think any of them claimed to have contacts in the PJ.

I think that is a silly assertion ... please check back and this time actually read the links I have posted and you will find that, yet again, you are wrong.

Martin Brunt made a clear statement if what the Portuguese police believed Re the dna in the car.  He told us what the police believed... It turns out he was spot on.  So where did this accurate information come from if not from the police..

His information was not accurate though.

The police found 3 full matches of Madeleine's DNA;
In the apartment police found one full match (on a window sill) of Madeleine's DNA.
In the hire car there was a partial match and a full match.

I can provide a cite. Can you provide any which claim direct contact with any policeman from the PJ?

David Pilditch;

The aspect that made the case truly unusual was the wall of silence and lack of guidance to journalists from police both in Portugal and the UK,

You can really only think of one source? What about the FSS or the UK police? Who gave 24 Horas this rubbish about Murat, for example;

Detectives searching for Madeleine McCann have told a Portuguese newspaper she WAS at the home of official suspect Robert Murat.
Officers claim traces of the missing four-year-old's hair and body fluids were found in at the Briton's villa.

Brunt said the dna evidence had convinced the PJ that Maddie had been in the car... That isn't what the Fss or SY have ever said.. I think you continue to be in total denial

Brunt had some incorrect DNA results. He also knew that the McCanns had been made arguido and had fled to the UK. The rest is speculation imo.

I thought he said that the DNA results "Rather explain perhaps why the Portuguese police are so confident in their theory that Madeleine's parents played a part in their daughter's death"

He goes on to say that the full match with Madeleine's DNA found in the hire car is crucial evidence that her body was in that car at least 5 weeks after she disappeared.

There was no full match though, so his speculation wasn't correct.

How would he know that the PJ were so confident unless a police source had disclosed it...this was 100% accurate

They've got nothing to show for it and there's a reason why. Last time I looked it was an investigation into the Disappearance of Madeleine McCann and NOT the abduction of!
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

Who do you think leaked this misreading of the evidence?

Who told him there was a full match?  The FSS?  FFS!

What you have written comes very close to deception.   What Martin Brunt says in that interview is not backed by the results from the labs.
IMO only one full match was found and the other were unconfirmed (they used another word in the report meaning something similar).

Again I think you are in total denial.. What Brunt reported was so close to what the PJ eventually said that realistically it could only have come from the PJ
