The general consensus seems to be that Sheila Caffell couldn't have defeated her father in the kitchen. Nevill wasn't, however, fully fit. He had been shot in his lip, chin, spine, jaw, shoulder and upper arm. He was a one-armed man bleeding, shocked and in terrible pain.
Nevill would have swiftly overpowered her upstairs though — had it been Sheila
Except it wasn’t , was it? It was Jeremy Bamber
What’s more, despite Nevill being 6”4”, in excellent health, extremely fit, and strong...and despite him being shot in the jaw, mouth and upper arm...he was STILL able to put a tremendous fight in the kitchen which proves just how strong he was
And with all that adrenaline surging through him, as he fought for his life he’d have felt almost no pain — that’s a medical fact. Soldiers in war have often continued fighting after being shot totally unaware they've even been injured!
Nevill literally fought to the death, and it’s ludicrous to suggest he couldn’t have overpowered Sheila
