Who's ship sailed from Faro to Morroco?

I have no idea, but it was reported soon after Hewlett came into the News that a ship had Hewletts van craned on to it at Faro.  I can no longer prove that but I feel sure that others will remember.

I have just read on here that someone supplied Hewlett with a new van   Sounds rather like when reputedly someone supplied CB with a new(ish) Winnebago or Allegro about the time when Madeleine disappeared.   Hewlett was supposed to have lost his ?eldest? son when the back doors fell open and he fell out of the van as it was moving.   IIRC his son was killed.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

So,
Someone has supplied Hewlett and CB with new vans if what I have read is correct.    Is that just a coincidence?

These last points are only my thoughts, but there are some mighty coincidences, it seems to me.

BTW, have we ascertained ...  Was it a Winnebago , or was it an Allegro That CB suddenly appeared with ?

Who's ship sailed from Faro to Morroco?

2007 - Summer 2007 - Hewletts were visited by local police helping in search for Maddie . Portuguese police visited Hewlett and his wife Mariana twice about the case (unknown dates). Hewlett gave Portuguese police a DNA swab and fingerprints. Hewlett at all times maintained his innocence in regard to the McCann case.

2007 - June 10, 2007 - Hewlett left Portugal and took his family to Morocco. He said: "A friend gave me a broken old Mercedes and I stripped it down into parts. "I knew they were worth a fortune in Morocco because I'd been there for a couple of months in 2005. You can even get good money for Mercedes nuts and bolts there. "I knew people on the docks at Faro and I got the captain of a ferry to take us over for free. We stayed in Morocco for two months and came back in the August. I made 300 euros from the car parts." Hewlett said he left Portugal five weeks after Madeleine disappeared for a two-month "business trip". Said that he caught a ferry from Faro to Morocco.  (Note: British reporter claimed that "there is NO public ferry service between Faro and Morocco.") Hewlett said he stayed at campsite in Morocco for at least two months and made 300 euros selling car parts.

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Thanks Brie for coming up with all that information and saving me, as you so often do.

Amazing!   When I last looked at it I had found very little of what you are sharing.   Well done Brie for unearthing it..

I am very interested about the dates and timings of his crossings to Morocco and back, because they looked as though they lined up with Madeleines likely crossing dates …. and it is a compelling thought that Madeleine was in his van and crossed with them to that little bit of Spain in the corner of Morocco called Ceuta, with NO CUSTOMS to go through so no searches of his van.

I wonder who arranged for him to get a lift on the boat going over?   Who owned the boat?  Who was the Captain?  Who paid for the trip?   Etc.

I am also very interested in the fact that it appears that both for the trip over and the return trip Hewlett got a last minute phone call and he rushed to pack up and get to the boat.  Was there a big payoff involved?

Only my thoughts.

Was he carrying Madeleine?   Coincidences seem to point to it being likely.

PS.  I haven't yet been able to read https://www.gerrymccannsblogs.co.uk/Nigel/id257.htm and I am off to bed now.

Unfortunately  for your theory HCW  days he had strong  evidence Maddie was murdered.
Evidence that he has not yet shared with SY or the PJ.
For obvious reasons some posters are in denial,.but I'm afraid it seems he does have this evidence

And what convinces you....other than the fact that he said it?

I've already given my reasons I'm not going to repeat them.. Particularly to a poster who has falsely  claimed to have provided a cite

Even CBs own lawyer is not saying there is no evidence... In fact he's demanding  to see it

The cite you claimed to have provided is behind a psy wall so not readily accessible.  You ate still falsely claiming there is a cite there.. There isn't because the article you linked to is simply copied from the Sun article.
Your claim is false... Copy and paste is available

If you can’t read the cite I posted how do you know that it is simply copied from a Sun article? You really can’t have it both ways.

Because as Ive alraedy pointed out that is what is happening now. The Sun prints first and even the quality papers copy...it wouldnt surprise me if the telegraph actually quotes the Sun as its source.

The actual source of all the British media stories is Correio De Manha, the original article is also behind a paywall.
