Interestingly Matt's statement changes from statement 1, When the alarm was raised he & all the others went into Madeleines room & saw the window & shutters open.

Statement 2,  He entered the apartment but did not go into Maddie's room & see the shutters, & by the time of the rogatory he decided he never entered the apartment at all at that time & had just stood at the bottom of the steps with only Kate, Gerry & maybe David entering the apartment.

The T9 really were extra reliable witnesses.

"Then, the whole group went to Madeleine's bedroom and checked that the twins were sleeping OK. That there was no sign of a burglary in the apartment. Only one window in the childrens' bedroom was open. The window was open and the respective shutter."

Asked, he relates that when he entered the apartment, from memory, he did not approach MBM's bedroom therefore cannot provide any details about its condition."

If you ask whether we went, you know, into the apartment and I'm almost a hundred percent sure we didn't go to the apartment

So Matt’s in on it then, who else?

Matt also states in his rogatory that the curtains were drawn and he is convinced the shutters were down during his second check. Initially in the first interview he had stated that the light in the room could have come from outside (i.e open shutters). In his roatory he clears this up and talks about the lamp in the lounge and the light coming from behind him. This begs the question who opened the children's  door between the McCanns leaving for the Tapas and Gerry returning for his first check. If this was an abductor who came through the patio doors why did he remain in  the apartment for about 40 minutes before performing the implausible act of leaving with a child via the window!? Logic says the abductor would not have stayed in the apartment for 40 minutes and been present during two of the checks. To me such a scenario is not plausible.

That depends what time Kate raised the alarm.

(We can't be certain what time she raised the alarm)
Well lets say it was Pathfinder’s preferred time.  You like their theory, so how much time does that leave?

That's not logical. Logic says if matt was "in on it" then he would have stuck with an open shutters scenario for his second check.

Why do you think he would have to be in the apartment for 40 minutes?

So why did he apparently change his story about the events that evening twice?

So how many minutes does that leave for an abductor to strike?

Via the window or the patio doors? The time frame for each scenario is different if you apply logic.

What was Pathfinders correct time?

How much margin for error?

The time of Gerry's check has possibly a 5-10 or even 15 min variance.

How much time do we allow for Kate's?

Ask OG, Andy Redwood sussed this whole confusing timeline business out in about 2013, apparently, but it needs to be kept top secret for some reason.

Do it for either, both scenarios are plausible.

Surely you know Pathfinder’s time?  You’re a big fan of his theory I thought?

Still an ongoing investigation which Wolters has to juggle his chap in.

I don't. That is what logic dictates!!

It's because the shutters were closed and the curtains were drawn at 9:35 - 9:40pm. Gerry notices at around 9pm that the bedroom door was more open than he left it. Logic says that must have been the abductor (since no-one else has been in. Matt's first check was a listen outside). Logic also tells us that in the abduction scenario the abductor is still present after Matt's second check as this must be when he (the abductor) opens the window and shutters from the inside.

Do it for either, both scenarios are plausible.

Entry via the shuttered window is neither plausible nor logical. They were opened from the inside in the  normal way. It's not logical nor plausible to suppose an abductor entered via a shuttered and closed window

How accurate are the timelines considering the the words have apparently been lost in translation.
