Some people just can't see the connection between their own actions and their consequences. I suppose it's easier to rail against others as Kate McCann did. Mark Warner didn't warn them that PdL was 'unsafe', the PJ didn't offer refreshments and sympathy, they scared her by driving her back to Portimao at speed, they didn't keep her sufficiently informed, etc etc etc.
Maybe the PJ should have done something about the break ins. Did they do anything? Some of the people in these apartments said they had locked their doors. One said they put the key in the door to stop the cleaner entering but she still entered. What was going on there?
As for driving them back to Portmao at speed, but yourself in their position. Wouldn't you be scared? They didn't tell them why they were racing back.
The refreshments, have you read Kerry Needham's book? Kerry said the exact same, they weren't offered anything to drink whilst waiting ages in the Police Station, but then I forget, Kerry is a role model for a mother of a missing child isn't she? Some put Kerry on a pedestal as an example of how a mother of a missing child is expected to behave. Read her book there is a lot in it that resembles the McCann's ordeal. Kerry has every sympathy with the McCann's.
