So unlike G-Unit you don’t believe the remit was only to investigate an abduction?  Interesting difference of opinion there.

Excellent.  But then Gunit never had any proof anyway.

I so often find that if you push a point too far then you usually defeat your own argument.

You're never going to see those two debating this point despite apparently having very different opinions on it.

They wouldn't agree with you of course.  Anything can be screwed to mean anything.

But we carry on. and I no longer care of what they think.  I am only here to refute their obvious lies in an attempt to implicate The McCanns.  This is never going to happen.  And of course they are doomed to failure.

Whether or not Brueckner is ever convicted of the disappearance of Madeleine is immaterial to me.  He will stay locked up for a very long time on other charges.

Let's hope (oops, shame on me for having hope!)

No need for Hope at the moment.  Madeleine is alive or dead.  But no one has proof of either.  This is what is so disgusting.  Some persons actually hope that Madeleine is dead.

I think that has always been so, convoluted though it is.  Their hope is not only for Madeleine to be dead but that she is so with parental involvement ~ nothing else will suffice.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Who says they weren't investigating an abduction when OG investigated the Smith sighting?

Ask Faithlilly what she thinks and get back to me.

She didn't say they were investigating something else, I think you assumed she was.

There is proof.
Wolters has CONCRETE EVIDENCE Madeleine is dead & said there's no hope she is alive.
Why do you doubt Wolters when he has the full backing of the BKA the MET & the PJ?
I really don't see the point in hoping Maddie is alive now, given the fact Brueckner murdered her.

Indeed…and at the hands of a vicious paedophile. Shame on them.

Who remembers when the McCanns appeared on Crimewatch how many sceptics believed they were being set up by Operation Grange  to crack under pressure and that Redwood was playing a cunning game by deliberately shifting attention onto Smithman in order to get Gerry sweating under the studio lights?  How would this have fitted in with the “abduction only” remit I wonder?

Nope, there’s definitely not consensus in Scepticland that the Met were ordered to investigate abduction to the exclusion of all other theories.
