My view is that Brückner didn’t kill Madeleine per se. And if he did, it was by accident, I believe. Wolters first want to make sure that Brückner gets sentenced for the five new charges. And as the BKA said, then pursue Madeleine’s case. Personally, I think Madeleine is alive.

I still have the hope that CB sold Madeleine.   He could have said he killed her so that they wouldn't go into depth as to who he sold her too.   If the person or gang he may have sold her too are powerful people he could be afraid they will find him and kill him if he give any details.

Who knows.

Are you hoping that Brueckner didn't kill Madeleine and that therefore Wolters is wrong in his belief ?

Even if he did sell her, there would be no guarantee that she lived long once the hands of this 'powerful gang'

Like Eleanor, I am reluctant to point the finger at anyone without an abundance of evidence = facts, as well as pointers.

I am still open minded about Brueckner although I have possible pointers that he might have been the driver who Carlos Moreira saw with ?Madeleine in the back of a white van at the roadside cafe on the N10 near Samora Corriea   This driver was identified by Carlos as being very like a photofit that we have all seen and discussed.
The photofit was very like CB and I spent ages changing a photograph of CB by adding a wig, altering the eyebrows as though with mascara and possible black pencil + adding the same sort of moustache.

Where have all the small images of this efit sketch vanished to?  They seem to have been cleared off the internet.  Why?

I think that that photofit was so like a deliberately disguised CB that it ia likely that the photofit was of CB.
But I DON'T KNOW for sure, so it goes on the back burner

Like Elli I don't like accusing without proof and i have no actual proof atm.

I think it’s very possible, Sadie. Also the fact that Nicole F said CB was in Tomar on the night of 3/4 May 2007. Samora Correia is about an hour’s drive from Tomar.

Here’s the the thing.  Many of us hope against hope that Madeleine is alive and well, having been abducted and passed on to a loving, kind family.  I don’t know for sure that this didn’t happen but I think it’s highly unlikely.  I think the most logical and plausible explanation is that she was abducted for nefarious reasons and died shortly after being taken.  I hope I am wrong.  I don’t think I am.

Still nothing that points to CB being in Luz on the night of 3/05/2007.

I tend to lean towards this.  It's the only thing that I can make sense of.

His phone was there, according to the phone logs.

A phone, Wolters admits any one could have used it, if CB is the one then if , buts and maybe's won't get him convicted.

His phone in the locale is a pointer that he was there however.  You said there were no pointers.  There is.  A 30 minute phone call received from a number belonging to a known paedophile, according to MWT.

Anyone?  You lend you phone to all and sundry and don't know who's got It?

no one lends their phone out - not for more than a few minutes anyway.  You certainly don't give it to a mate when you're elsewhere in the country for any length of time.  It's a ridiculous idea.

Best tell Wolters then.

Wolters already knows much more than you do.

Did he use it after the event?  Wolters will know that.
