I should point out that Jez Wilkins corroborates this version too.

Has this image been altered to reflect the proper body dimentions  ? 

It doesn't seem to have been with the  Jane Tanner figure

The wall she is seen to be passing very close to is roughly the same height as the gate  (  waist high to Gerry in the photo )  ...  yet it is as high as her neck

She is quite a tall woman and it seems she is somewhat  'diminuished'  in this depiction

By the proportions shown there she would have to take three or four steps to cross the width of the path  ...  in reality it would take her one step

The figures are too small in relation to their surroundings,  which is giving a skewed image of the distance between them  (  imo )

The wall does increase in height due to the incline and Gerry was standing on a step behind the gate but I will increase the size of the silhouettes slightly to compensate.  Thanks.

The width of the pavement only allows for two adults to walk side by side on it

When you change the dimensions of the figures you could use that as a gauge  (  as it is,  the size of the Tanner figure would allow for four  other  adults of the same size to stand abreast  with her  )

Isabod, why haven't you read the thread?  Why haven't you read the width of the pavement there?

It was about 1.8 to 2.0 metres wide(at the corner as indicated on Jezes hand drawn map) so plenty of space even if they were both on the pavement > What's your problem?

Was it you that tried to make out that I had some agenda for wanting them to be on the eastern pavement. or was that someone else?

Anyway back on topic. Watch any vt of the piece of pavement we are discussing, even the reconstruction in Madeleine Was Here, and you will see how impossible it would be for two individuals to be standing on it  and another to pass by without being seen.

How well were the hedges cut back at the timer of the videos?   Greenery grows like crazy in PT and it had just been cut back at the time of the abduction [see photos taken at the time]

And on his drawing, Jez clearly indicates that they were standing on the alleyway corner.  So easy to pass them there.

All I am interested in is the truth.  Oh and supporting a family that have been sorely abused, mainly by peeps who just dont understand and have taken on board the lies put out about them in the early days.  Also have decided that they dont like Kate and Gerry.  Nor their perceived body language.

Strange thing is that these peeps fell for Karen Matthews spiel "hook, line and sinker"

Jez's drawing differs from his statements. In one of his statement he says he was 5m from the alleyway.

This thread has been a work in progress  ...  well done,  and thanks to John,  for using debate and witness statements to bring us to what is probably the most definitive picture of the Tanner/McCann/Wilkins   'crossing'  as we are likely to get

What conclusions can we draw now  ...  looking at that final picture ...  about the likelihood of Jane Tanner passing by unseen   ?

Interesting video which was posted earlier this evening where Jane Tanner explains how she slipped past Jeremy and Gerry as they had a natter at the side of the road.  You will have noticed that she was on the road when she was pointing out to Gerry where he was stood.  That must have really pissed him off!

In any event they both could have been stood there on the pavement and still left plenty of room for passers-by as gentlemen do.

Jez's drawing differs from his statements. In one of his statement he says he was 5m from the alleyway.

In which direction Faithlilly?  North south or E., in the middle of the road?  Dont forget that in your quote, he also says that he was 10 -15 metres from the top of the road, when he was more like 30 metres away. 

With such inaccuracy, I prefer his drawing.  That is very definite.

It says they were on the corner of the alleyway

Even in Gerry's alternative scenario he is stood on the road looking up at the 6' and more Jeremy standing on the pavement.   Does anyone think that one of them had a similar encounter at a different time and quiet possibly they are mixing them up?  Just a thought.

I like this particular mock up, it has a ring of truth about it when you consider what Jeremy said in his statements and what Mss Tanner pointed on in the mock reconstruction.   Jeremy claims it happened right there on the pathway so had he two feet on the kerb or just one?
