They really can't get anything right, can they?  Martin had not even decided if he was going to retire from SYP at the point he was in PDL.  He was still considering his options.  And you are spot on re Jersey too, in fact once it was clear he was going to be there for longer than originally thought, he offered to discount the daily rates but his offer was turned down.

suggestive that this is 'cadaver scent' contaminant. This does not however
suggest a motive or suspect as cross contamination could be as a result of a
number of given scenarios and in any event no evidential or intelligence
reliability can be made from these alerts unless they can be confirmed with
corroborating evidence.
