Why was a tabloid article in the police file? Was this meant to be evidence?

Tavares expressly states in his discredited interim report that Mr Healy 'contradicted' Kate and gerry on using sedatives with the children.

Unless we have the actual video of Mr Healy's interview who knows what he told reporters. You know how these tabloids are !
Brietta posted on 10/04/2022 “But whether or not that is the reason behind the delay I am certain that Brueckner's trial is going to take place.”

Let’s count the months, shall we?

Tavares said:

Let's see: the media forwarded the hypothesis that the children could have been sedated to be kept asleep and allow some rest to the parents.

Distant in time Kate's father, the grandfather of the minor, Brian Healy, admits to the press that Kate could have administered some medication to the little girl, Calpol, to help the child (children'') to sleep, contrary to what his daughter Kate had stated.

Which "such a thing" was put in this worried father's mind ? " I’m just horrified ,that anyone could even think that my daughter would do such a thing."
Sometimes I wonder how journalists have the "courage"...

Thank you Carana, I had missed it. The interview with Mr Healy was after they had been made arguidos so couldn't have happened before the 7-8 September, the interim report, an extract of which was supplied by ferryman, was dated the 10th of September yet Tavares wording seems to suggest the interview he was referring to was further in the past than a mere two days. Are we sure this is the interview Tavares means ?

Almeida wrote his report 10 September.

Mr Healy was interviewed on 7th September.

28 courses? My husband has been on Omeprazole for 13 years.

Why would he need to see the doctor, for a repeat prescription?

I have an Hiatus Hernia I have been on firstly Lansoprazole and then Omeprazole for 15 years

So how do you think Gerry got hold of Omeprazole without consulting his doctor ?

In Italy it is generic and available without prescription in pharmacies

So why did Amaral simply not check his information before he published his book? It's quite easy to check up Calpol on the internet.

This book looks like written in a hurry. This Calpol question should certainly have been checked. Usually editors do and they use rewriters as well. And lawyers against libel accusations in certain countries.

That's true, it generally should come down to the editors, that certainly didn't do Mr. Amaral any favours.
