Donal MacIntyre's renders his theory on what happened.

Slightly off topic, but in response to some thinking there was more than one abductor, I came across this theory....

notice the blunder?

He overlooked that by that time of that holiday, Madeleine sleep problems were well and truly behind her.

And why would this accomplice he was meeting not be there until after 10pm  ?

Surely any 'meeting'  would be arranged with precision to enable as quick a get-away as possible

It could be he was passing her on to someone else.

Baseless speculation gets no one anywhere though, so pointless

What was the blunder Redblossom?
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

What was the blunder Redblossom?

They had to stay hidden, in the company of Gerry McCann.

They had to stay hidden, in the company of Gerry McCann.

Why was that a 'blunder'  though ?  ...  Gerry himself says the abductor was possibly in the apartment with him

( I thought the blunder might be mentioning that Madeleine was a  'notoriously bad sleeper' )

At least two abductors, all in the aprtment with gerry for up to ten minutes, and after he left they drugged and abducted madeleine and cleaned the apartment all within 3-5 minutes, then one of them just walked down the road with her uncovered witht no knowledge of whether they would be spotted or not, and the other two did what?
Highly organised, highly planned he says, but no getaway car, yes ok then

Obviously he is linking the abduction to tanners sighting as defacto

I find all this talk of sedatives ridiculous. When I have taken my young children on holiday they become so tired after playing all day that they fall into a deep sleep and can be impossible to wake up until the following morning.
That's why continental families give their children a siesta.

So you disagree with Mcintyre that the abductors had to subdue Madeleine???

ah, I see

Yes,  Mackintyre appears to be  presenting the McCann's own favoured abduction theory,  even though it is the most unlikely one

...  and like the McCanns he gives no  reason  for assuming a man  (  or  'men'  in his case )  were hiding in the apartment when Gerry was there

I mean why do any of them assume someone was already in there  ?  ...  why is that  necessary to the theory

Its hard to get ones head around it, the truth is normally alot more simple and not as convoluted as this

I just read MacIntyre's complete article in the Express,  and,  like the McCanns themselves,  he suggests that the abductor had been in the apartment some time previously  ( doing a 'dry run' in his words )

But he offers no explanation as to  why an abductor would do such a risky thing just for   'practice'

His theory is based entirely on supposition and consequently has not a shred of credibility about it
