I recall that the night in question was also the night of the quiz at the Tapas bar.  The aerobics instructor, who gave the quiz, was invited to the table by Gerry McCann and remained with them for about half an hour

I can't remember the details of her witness statement, but I believe she said she did not remember  Kate being there

Could it be possible that Kate was in the apartment when those calls were made  ?  (  it seems unlikely that she would be on the phone so much at the dinner table )

Thanks for resurrecting this thread Anne  ...  it went horribly off-topic didn't it

As far as I remember,  though,  it was never disputed that Kate  could  have been in the apartment  (  using her phone  )  during the crying period witnessed by Mrs Fenn

We have to go through those posts now. Mrs B seemed to say that there was no "ping" for Mrs McCann's phone, so how did we get to the conclusion she could have called someone in the flat (I remember it was before 22h30 though, and we thought Madeleine could have heard her and started to cry when she left the flat again) ?
I'm afraid I never understood if the "pings" are identical when you call, are called, send a sms, receive a sms. I'm very allergic not to those cellphones but to the use people make of them.
