Nope. But according to some loons, the investigation was only archived because Kate McCann didn't answer any of Amaral's pointless 48 questions & their friends didn't agree to go to Portugal for a reconstruction. Which would make Portugal a safe haven for any criminal, you just have to say "nope, I won't cooperate" & they just stop investigation.
As with so much [ censored word ] (I won't say all!) there is
sometimes an element of substance in something that they say.
Madeleine is the victim of a crime.
The investigation failed to uncover any clue of what happened to her.
Any new investigation would start with a clean slate and all possibilities (technically) open, including the (faint) possibility that something could come to light to implicate any or all of the original 3 arguidos.
Saying that is
vastly different from saying (as the [ censored word ]s do) that the investigation was closed with a powerful indicator of suspicion against (ususally) Kate and/or Gerry, and all that was lacking was that vital bit of smoking-gun evidence to convict them.
That is the [ censored word ] slant.
It is outright fraudulent ....
