What doesn't seem clear at all to me is how long any residual cadaver scent would remain on non-porous materials, particularly in view of the short interval of time that she could hypothetically have lain somewhere.
Tiles are porous except when treated (common use of treatment is recent). Mat painting is also porous.

Keela reacted in the boot of the car, Eddie didn't. Keela only reacts to blood. Eddie reacts to blood...oh dear...which dog was wrong.

So no evidence yet that Keela was deployed in the bedroom or on the clothes.

It seems we have another myth.

The deeper into this you get, the more 'accepted facts are shown to be myths.

No no myth, just your desire to delare one LOL when it does NOT exist, Hmmm

YES  there is!!! Its on frigging video LOL

you will have to work your way through it

Drop it, Redblossom, all that fuss is to spare himself the effort to look !
Old trick !
Keela didn't react in the bedroom. The bedroom is the first place Eddie went to. And more importantly right from the very beginning Eddie caught the cadaver scent in the air. All this is on video, recorded in marble.

Yes it stinks but it doesn't stink like human remains.

Nor do human remains after a short while.  Or do you have some personal expertise on the subject?

Just exactly what do you think happens to the intestines of a pig once it has been gutted?  They aren't left lying around you know.  They are carted off and used as fertilizer.

And once a dead body has been removed, presuming it laid around for long enough, like well beyond two hours, then the smell even to a dog would dissipate.  Not to forget of course, that any dog can smell a corpse if there is one in situ.
And under the circumstances there is just no possibility that a dead Madeleine could have been there for that long.  Otherwise everyone would have been able to smell it.

Too late !
Eddie didn't pick up cadaver scent on the threshold of the 5B, 5D,5H,4G, the McCann villa and Mr Murat's house, all places where normal people have sex, lose hair, cut nails, urinate, cut themselves slightly when preparing food and even occasionally use fertilizers !
It is so remarkable that people, reading in the future some book reporting casually what happened based on the files will not even have to join dots to find what likely, not surely, happened to Madeleine McCann.

I am currently watching the entire Duarte Levy 90 plus minute video. No sign yet on that of Keela's deployment in the bedroom or on the clothes.

U must be blind then

A 2 hours post-mortem body (accidentally dead, not a sick person) doesn't smell yet (for a human nose) under 18° C. Rescue dogs are trained to avoid cadaver scent.
In cemeteries where funeral urns are deposited in little chapels with broken glass, there's a funny smell.

No forensics were found in 5A. Mr Grime new 5A was the Mccanns'. He has already shown that he encouraged Eddie to react to the Mccann car. Clever Hans effect?
How do you know he knew ? There's nothing in the files saying it. You're libelling Prof Harrison MBE who directed the operation.
And the dogs were deployed in the flat before being deployed in the garage.

Care to give me the times when you know Keela is shown to be on the clothes or in 5A bedroom. I have watched those bits and seen nothing. The rest of the video seems to be the Garage, so I am now going back to double check from the beginning.

At least I try to provide cites- something that you refuse to do!

keela is on the video

I would not be arguing if she wasnt

Now you want ME to spend my time to prove it to you!

Ok

Then eat humble pie

Fair is fair

There is no evidence that Keela was deployed in the bedroom.

You were looking at the Sun clip.

The extended 5A clip shows her in the bedroom at around 20 mins in.

There must be an error in the time given here as they have Eddie marking in the bedroom at 8.20  BEFORE he even entered the place  at 8.30p.m.

5A:

From 8.30pm to 9.20pm, the dogs go through.
8.20pm: The cadaver dog, "marks," the couple's wardrobe area in the bedroom.
8.22pm: The cadaver dog, "marks" an area behind the sofa in the sitting room near the window overlooking the road.
From 8.47pm to 9.20pm, the blood detecting dog goes through.
8.10 (should it be 9.10?) The dog, "marks" an area of floor behind the sofa in the sitting room, near the window overlooking the road.

Without knowing the correct time of entry we don't know how long Eddie was there before alerting

--------------------------------------------------------------

5B: 9.24 to 9.27pm: The cadaver dog did not alert on anything.      3 minutes spent.

5D: 9.29 to 9.34pm: The cadaver dog did not alert on anything.        5 mins spent

5H : 9.35 to 9.38pm : The cadaver dog did not alert on anything.       3 minutes spent

4G : 9.42 to 9.45pm : The cadaver dog did not alert on anything.      3 mins spent

Garden belonging to apartment 5A (with access via the balcony and the steps):

9.49 to 10pm: The cadaver dog "marks" an area of the garden immediately below the window.

Date: 01 ao? 2007 - 06h00
--------------------------------------------------------------

Without knowing the correct time that Eddie went into 5A it's not possible to know how long he was there before he alerted.    But it seems to me that just as with the car - he may have spent a much longer time in 5A than he was required to in the other apartments.

If he had spent the same amount of time in the other apartments - instead of a few minutes - maybe he would have alerted, as I find it hard to believe no blood had ever been spilt  - for whatever reason - in those other apartments.

The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

I wonder if Grime was aware at the time that the apartment have been occupied by four families since the disappearance, or did he assume it had been empty since the initial forensic people left on 4 May?

What we have to be able to understand in a situation such as this is in a hot climate with the apartment being closed down, the scent will build up in a particular area. If there isn't a scent source in here, i.e. a physical article where the scent is emitting from, any scent residue will collect in a particular place due to the air movement of the flat, the apartment and what I would say in this case is that there is enough scent in that area there for him to give me a bark indication but the source may not be in that cupboard, the source may well be in this room somewhere else but the air is actually pushing into that corner. But strong indication and I would say its positive for things that he is trained to find, which will be part of a separate debrief.
