All about madeleines case

This may be good /bad im just finding quite hard to follow all topics as so many different threads ,

Id like to know peoples theories from both sides without name calling . We didnt leave our child neither did we kidnap one .the old posts are so interesting where posters from both sides spent hours searching and finding so much information ,new posters would be amazed in some of the finding from 2007/8

John Barrett, a retired Scotland Yard dog handler, dismissed the cadaver-dog claim at the time, telling journalists the dogs could only detect the scent of a cadaver up to 28 days after a death

So much of the 2007/08 info/theories  have been proven to be incorrect though Kazcutt. In those days almost everyone took the Portuguese posters word for everything, oh how times have changed.

How does the open/closed/open again door fit in with an abductor leaving at closer to ten?

I realise That this isn't a theory, but I'm really curious to hear how people reconcile it now that Bundleman is out of the picture?

Gerry checks at 9:05 and the bedroom door is too open, he closes it to 5 degrees. Matthew Oldfield checks at around half past nine and it's open enough for him to see the twins. It's still open at Kate's 10:00 check as is the window. Smithman is ten minutes (roughly) away by foot.

Any ideas?

For several years the Tanner sighting suggested Madeleine had been taken around 21:15. Scotland Yard are now more interested in a second sighting at around 22:00 reported by the Smith family, who were on holiday from Ireland. Their report had been overlooked as mistaken or not connected to the kidnapping, because it was inconsistent with the timing of the Tanner report. Police now believe that it is this second sighting that gives them the approximate time of Madeleine's kidnap.

The pj ruled out the smith sighting because of timings the time tanner saw her man to how long it would have taken to get to smith sightings would have not fitted ,

Dunno why as who said he didnt stop off on the way imo ,but if they are happy and have the inside info which has been checked ? On wiki it says he came forward oct 2013 to say its him ....???? That dont sound right to me

Id love to have seen  this man talking ,id also love to see mr smth talking

I dare say a major factor with the police was that Tanner was insistent that she had seen Madeleine,( down to the pattern and colour of the pyjamas), whereas the Smith family only stated that they had seen a man carrying a young girl.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

The smiths said same light coloured clothes but one of them said long sleves

The Smiths saw a man on Rua da Escola Primária, carrying a young girl and walking from the direction of the Ocean Club resort toward Rua 25 de Abril and the beach. They described the girl as 3–4 years old, wearing light-coloured pyjamas, with blonde hair and pale skin. They said the man was mid-30s, 1.75–1.80 m in height, with a slim-to-normal build, short brown hair, wearing cream or beige trousers. They said he did not look like a tourist and had not looked comfortable carrying the child.[37]

Smiths sighting info
http://www.mccannfiles.com/id162.html

Martin Smith believed with 60% to 80% certainty that the man they saw carrying the child was Gerry McCann.
They didn't tell us that bit on Crimewatch.
