Jeremy Bamber's real parents and siblings
« on: April 12, 2012, 03:20:54 PM »
Jeremy Bamber was born on Friday 13 January 1961 and named Jeremy P Marsham.  He was the natural son of married Army Sergeant Leslie Marsham and a Miss Juliet Wheeler (17).

He was adopted by Nevill and June Bamber in 1961 and became Jeremy Neville Bamber.  The following year Leslie Marsham and Juliet Wheeler married in Leicester.  A short time later they moved to Dhekelia in Cyprus and had two more children, namely, Justin Marsham born in 1965 and Sophie Marsham born in 1967.

Justin Marsham was educated at Brighton College. He is one of three founders and a director of Riverside Tanker Chartering Ltd which specialises in the chartering and transportation of speciality liquid products on a world-wide basis.  He is based in Singapore.

He married in July 1997 in Worthing, Sussex and has two sons.  He has since divorced and is now married to Bessie.

Sophie Marsham, now Sophie Wakely, married in July 1991 in Westminster and has two daughters.  She studied public art and design at Chelsea College of Art and is now a highly talented sculptor and public artist.  She retains her maiden name, 'Sophie Marsham', in her professional life.

Jeremy's natural nephews look uncannily like the other two poor little souls he slaughtered so ruthlessly as they slept.... 8(8-))

Reading this thread, looking at the photos (especially the family one), and at his brother's and sister's websites,
I had a twinge of sympathy for a life wasted in Full Sutton and what might have been if he had not been adopted. The contrast between two siblings who are successful in their respective spheres, shipping and sculpture and an
enclosed life constantly poring over countless documents to find discrepancies & inconsistencies to get you off the hook, couldn't be more stark.
It's one of them cases, in'it... one of them f*ckin' cases.

I can emphasise with those sentiments Myster and I have to keep reminding myself that it was his choice.  Had he not been so greedy he would have been very comfortable but there you go.  Sad.

It's a shame Bamber was ever born ...I wonder how many more lifes Sheila, Daniel and Nicholas would have produced if Bamber hadn't killed them! Did Bamber ever felt any guilt for his evil deeds?

If we assume Jeremy is guilty of the murders, it begs the question: how was it to grow up in the Bamber household? One adopted child turned severely paranoid-schizophrenic, and the other a brutal mass-murderer. No shared DNA, yet grave dysfunction in both. Was it June´s mental illness that messed up the two?
I am sorry, I know I upset some people with this, but it is there, staring you in the face: something was terribly wrong.
According to Colin Caffel, the twins hated being at the WHF. Here are a couple of the twin´s drawings which illustrate their feelings.

P.S. They may have, ahem, "banned" me from the JB forum, but I made their picture thread and have ALL the pictures on my computer! - So even though I can´t see pictures over there - I CAN see them! HEHE

You're right Abs the family was very dysfunctional ...... from what I have read it would be June and her religious mania that caused most of the problems. It's a real shame. June might have a lot to answer for but there can be no mitigation for what Jeremy did.

I think you have a point abs, and I wonder how much adoption played a part. I have met people for whom adoption has been very successful, and others for whom it was the complete opposite. My experience is admittedly very limited but much seemed to depend on how well the mother adjusted to the adopted kids. I think it's common knowledge that June did not adjust well to the adoption of Sheila, that's not to say she didn't love her though.

The pictures the boys drew are disturbing, as is the one they drew of June (?) which you haven't posted.

Poor little lads ... they remain forever young. Strange to think they would be 33 now amd perhaps with children of their own.

Oh yes, those boys were absolutely adorable. They looked like they had a lot of spunk and humour, and were just beautiful little boys. Thank God they never woke up to see what was coming - and if one of them did, he wouldn´t have had time to realize the horror.

When you really sit down and think what happened in that house on that morning, it must have been terrible. The screams and gunshots, all the panic and fear. Neville took one hell of a beating, poor bloke. The twins executed while sleeping, warm in their beds.

June finished off with a shot between the eyes, and sheila blamed for the lot of it.
