Antonio Toscano evidence..

Re Antonio Toscano, I remember a story where he described going into a German man's house as an investigative journaist and there he was offered illegal videos of children being tortured, and also Toscano was sure this same man was in Algarve during the times of McCanns holiday and he had a suspicion this man has taken Madeleine.

Now, I wonder if there is any true in this story? Was this Toscano's man ever investigated? Was his story ever investigated? Was this man ever in Algarve?

I cannot find any info on this except that Toscano might be a fantasist, and similar..but to me his story I heard at the time had some logical details, I wonder what came out of it..

Anyone remembers this?

I wonder why he insisted it was that particular man, why the PJ rubbished it..

Is he actually crazy, making up stories? With mental problems?

The story I read from him about this guy selling dodgy videos and him going to investigate it was sounding pretty possible.. I know people said Toscano was there for 5 minutes of fame maybe.. but I personally would like this info fully investigated. Has it not happeend?

very possible....who knows, at that time there were all sorts of hoaxes and various people saying they were 100 per cent about all sorts....

What a simply splendid site. Should be useful for checking some of the rubbish spouted on here.

I notice the article in question had Mitchell's paws  marks all over it and no confirmation that any of it was true or false.

In his statement Toscano said he  never spoke to the Frenchman but in his newspaper interview he said he went to the Frenchman's house. Was it him or was it someone else who went to that house. The whole story to me doesn't seem like 'made up'

Was Toscano threatened? I know he was beaten up by these people and made sound mad but isn't this the usual tactic the organised criminals do?

And Toscanos story was made 'small' as at the same time someone called from Argentina claiming he knew where Madeleine was. Was it for reason to stop Toscanos story coming up in the media?

I think this needs to be investigated!

As the article says that he contacted the McCanns, or at least Mitchell, do you not think that this will not have  already been done by Gerry's finest sleuths ?

I believe all three have had threats..Of some kind........gerrymccannsblogs had it tried on by carter ruck by lying through their teeth though......have you not seen it?
