What exactly are you saying..you need to be more precise ..alerts to be used as evidence of what...with what reliability

Evidence the dog detected what it has been trained to detect.

In the trials the trainers have to show the records of the dog's training, because, obviously, if he or she can't demonstrate the dog was trained properly alerts are definitely useless.

But if the training is shown to be correct then those records will show the dog's reliability.
