Its still there Aangelo.  Im still confused as to what stories they are complaining about now rather an years ago and  how these hamper the "search"

I'm still confused as to what they mean by 'search' exactly. Who is searching where & when & by what means?
Are their facebook supporters searching when they are posting hopefull messages of support?
Was Maddie likely to be found playing centre half at Goodison Park at the weekend?

If, as Sherlock Holmes has suggested, that the webmaster of the official Find Madeleine site has claimed that it was the UK media that hampered the search for Madeleine then that was a spectacular own goal and would lend credence to any last minute submissions presented on behalf of the defendant !

SH has been strangely silent on thsi subject since he made his claim

Let's hope the McCann legal team have something very clever in store this week, because the facebook webmaster just claimed that it's the UK press who have hampered the search.

Hi Sherlock.  Do you have a reference for this please?

I think this is in response to some "spanning" of the facebook account by a group of Amaral supporters.  Rather sad that some get their jollies by spamming the facebook page for a missing little girl.

But each to their own.

Absolutely disgusting considering that they were the ones to call the Media when their daughter was a few hours disappeared.

So, we have to assume that the Wider Agenda backfired.

Live with it, McCanns.

Do you mean this?

To those offended by my post... I posted this message originally on October 30th. This message is from Gerry and Kate. Gerry and Kate will not comment on press articles. Please keep in mind many things you read in the press are not based on facts. If I have offended anyone with the tone, I apologise. I hope you can understand the amount of damage the press have done in the search for Madeleine (and how frustrating that is to all of us working so hard to get her home). Thank you to all who continue to stand by us and who keep Madeleine in their hearts. ~FM Webmaster

Yes if the rotten journalists had just printed those efits 5 years ago like Kate & Gerry begged them to do then Maddie would have been home by now.

I think by search they really mean possibility Madeleine could be alive - GM has stated many times he doesn't think anyone should be allowed to say the possibility no longer exists.

In 2007 the papers of course suggested she wasn't, but then the AG report said nothing definitively either way.

So anything printed after that ought to reflect the AG's conclusions - that's their case.

Don't be ridiculous.  No one knows how important these E Fits might be.  Especially as they are supposedly of the same  man.
Your grasp of the situation is tenuous, to say the least.

Ah - light dawns.  Is this the phrase you are all getting your knickers in a twist over?

Good heavens - what sensitive little flowers you imagine the press to be.

Maybe it is worth harking back to the wall to wall coverage in 2007 / 2008.  When the British and Portuguese press indulged in an absolute feeding frenzy over the McCann case.  If they could not find a fact, then a rumour would do.  If they coudnt find a rumour, the invent one.

And my heart belleds for them that some had to pay a small percentage of the profits they made to the fund.

As for it being the cause of the delay in the libel trial - not a chance.  I think the reason for that is elsewhere.

Yes 5 years ago those efits might possibly have helped find the 'abductor(s) & rescued Maddie from the void.
They could be of little use now.
Tragic isn't it.
