What is the success rate of SY in solving reported crimes ?
Any idea how efficient they are compared to other forces ?
P.S. Haven't you noticed the lack of any positive forensic analysis in this case ?
Or has that escaped your attention too ?
And phone data analysis is not a part of forensics?????
All modern famous crime cases have been solved using the technology which includes the dna analysis and the dna analysis is only a part of the forensics science.
CCTV analysis, computer analysis .. are all part of the forensics.
For example:
Joran Van Der Sloot caught on hotel CCTV camera entering the hotel with the girl he killed in Peru.. caught on the CCTV exiting the room where he just killed the girl
Vincent Tabak killer of Joana Yeates, caught by his phone masts being on a bridge he had to pass to place her body where it was found. Later found his google earth search for the place where the body was had been before the police annonced where the body was..
Murder of Meredith Kercher - DNA of Amanda Cox found on the knife blade and DNA of Amanda's boyfriend found on the Meredith's bra.
In Madeleine's case the most helpful would be the CCTV images which don't exist.
The thoughtful phone data analysis for the area at the time of her disappearance is the police's best bet at the moment.
Agatha Christie should be forgotten!
In our modern world everyone of us leaves the digital fingerprints everywhere we go.. and this is the most useful in any crime case at the moment!
