& @ Benice

Exactly Alice.
This is the short and tall of it.
Of course, preconceptions and assumptions colour understanding, sometimes...

Your claim:
''How that squares with DI Redwoods alledged claim that Madeleine was abducted by a stranger I have no idea (but he never actually said that exactly)''
----------------------------------------------------------------

Quote from Andy Redwood

We have conducted a forensic analysis of the timelines and there is clearly opportunity there for Madeleine McCann to have been removed from that apartment alive.    And it is our belief as experienced investigators - on the evidence - that that is a criminal act that has been undertaken by a stranger.

There are no 'ifs' or 'buts' to be seen in the above.      It's a clear statement by Andy Redwood which shows that your claim that he never actually said that - is incorrect.

The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

She could have walked out of the apartment as well.

Redwood also stated she might not have left the apartment alive.

Redwood said she could be alive or dead.

Did Redwood read about Schrodinger's cat ?

perhaps you should read about Shrodinger's cat...the cat existed as both alive and dead at the same time...not alive or dead

I don't have dreams about Kate and Gerry languishing in a Portuguese jail for the crimes of others against their daughter.

What about you?

I have read it dave.

In connection with multiverse theory.

So if you believe she is alive, where exactly would that be  ?

With a paedo or with a really nice family ?

Have you seen the advice given to 'Madeleine' on the facebook page ?

Simon's cat is much better and about as relevant to this thread.

According to their statements the drinking started before they left the apartment.  So by 10pm they must have been well oiled.
