Eleanor, to get any help, I would have to go through the procedures required as above, I have to do everything myself, I'm lucky that I have all the domestic appliance required to run an efficient home.

Well as for my future, God only knows, if I do not take stringent actions to try to bring this form of behaviour to an end, then there would be many victims to follow, apparently the corruption amongst the legal and judicial system is horrific, when it comes to victims of this sort, all I say is don't listen to them when they get an opportunity to condemn me.

I don't think I will do that, Colin.  And I don't think that they will try.

Personally, I do think that some of your actions have not been in your own best interests, but I certainly do not doubt your best intentions for your wife.  And nor can anyone else.  Your wife doesn't even know what is going on, so as long as she is fed, clothed and housed then no great harm can come to her.

Well Eleanor, I have tried to explain all the reasons why things happen the way it did, and backed by the Law Society, I have all the proof and documents. But they have a strong influence on the Internet and manage to have it all removed, if it was lies they should have sued me, but constantly threaten me but they did not have the stomach to take it to court, because if the law society saw it fit that they was professionally negligent in all the documents that I have sent, I guess they have not a leg to stand on in court, but yet they still have strong influence on having the document removed from the net.

I am responsible enough to know where to draw the line, but when people that is suppose to be non-bias have blatantly broke all the rules that we grew up believing that is our democratic right what are we suppose to do. I join the RAF because I believe that we were amicable, but this case have destroyed all of my belief and make me question am I on the right side, when they have openly shown me that what I believe in does not exist here.

Well Eleanor, this has nothing to do with money the reality is that Costco's stacked eight washing machines to the height of 30 feet, one half fell 2 of which hit my wife causing intensive damage to her, we have all the rights to expect in the UK that the authorities that we pay for would do the job's that they were employed to do, we certainly do not expect them to turn against the poor victim that has been destroyed, my wife's previous Doctor said, it would be different if she was killed, that is why we have the problems that we do, does it mean that we can presume to get justice if we are dead, if we cannot get it if we are life what chance would we have if we are dead?

Well I have manage to dig one of it up from the (waybackmachine)

“Taking the law into your own hands”, we have been taught wrongfully is a violation of civil order and tantamount to “anarchy”. In reality, for citizens to judge legal matters for themselves is the highest civic virtue and the cornerstone of true democracy, according to the Athenian law maker Solon. The latter even believed that citizens should be fined or reprimanded for shrinking from a public controversy or from their inborn capacity to be lawgivers.

Well Eleanor, it is a mad nightmare, I thought I better start learning about what to expect in the future
http://www.alzheimersreadingroom.com/2011/07/how-do-alzheimers-patients-die.html

I am rushed off my feet as it is, but somehow with the help of God I manage to pull through, and we both survive another day, it must also be a nightmare for her living in such a confusion, forgetting everything she ever learn, but I cannot wash my hands of her, and I also promise her mum before she died, that I will always take care of her, and that certainly did not mean that I would put her in a home.

I had to buy a part for my car and asked my son to keep an eye on her when I was out, it shocked me how much the area had changed, roads, shops, businesses that have closed, I only use to make my way to do the groceries it is amazing how things move on and we are stuck in this pathetic mad world.

Dear Colin,

It might not be a nightmare for your wife.  You simply do not know.  It is all probably much more of a nightmare for you.  But try not to imagine what it is like for her.

You see, no one can help you because you won't allow them to.  But that must remain your choice.  And I admire you for that.

Just come here from time to time if it takes your mind off things.

Eleanor, I could obtain help privately to give me a break and do our daily chores without depending on my son having to come from the city to relieve me so I can do our shopping and pay the bills, they have no right hanging on to the compensation and placing demands for us to accomplish, they have already committed their crimes all they have to do is release the money to us so we can get on with our lives without all this pressure placed upon us.

Our Solicitor had no right to bring in an official solicitor to represent us and close the case, especially when my wife have a spouse.

Channel 4 dispatches, is looking into this matter when the system is exploiting vulnerable people, in our case it was our own Solicitor that was willing to ignore all of his fiduciary duty to us, he basically created another injury on top of the one we already have and supported by a corrupted judiciary.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear FACT UK,

I am emailing from Nine Lives Media, and independent TV production company that makes current affairs programming for Channel 4 Dispatches.

We are currently researching a programme on the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and Court of Protection after learning that the act is being wrongly applied by care providers and local authorities. We have been investigating this after hearing from families who have been banned from visiting their loved ones in a residential care home setting after making a fair complaint about the standard of care the patient was receiving. In some cases the disagreement between the family and care provider has gone to the Court of Protection to decide whether it is in the best interest of the patient to have the ban upheld, depriving the patient of their right to a family life.

We have also heard from a few families who believe that a loved one has had their liberty wrongly deprived by a care home/the local authority and has had to take their appeal to the Court of Protection to get it overturned.

We would be really interested to hear your opinion on these issues and find out whether you have been contacted by any families who have had similar experiences to those mentioned above.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts,

Katie Arnold

Dear Katie Arnold,

I would like to add our Solicitor decided to use the mental capacity act against us because we wanted to take our case to court, he first threatened to remove himself off the record's, and decided when he realise that we was not changing our mind, to introduce the Official Solicitor that took over our position and ended the case.

I just wanted you to realise that it is not just the care providers and local authority, it is also used by corrupted solicitors, it is wrongly applied because the main reason is that the claimant has a spouse and family in our case.

“We were very concerned by what we heard about the safeguards. The evidence suggests that tens of thousands of people are being deprived of their

liberty without the protection of the law, and without the protection that Parliament intended Worse still, in some cases the safeguards are being wilfully

used to oppress individuals and to force decisions upon them. The Government needs to go back to the drawing board to draft replacement provisions that

are easy to understand and implement, and in keeping with the style and ethos of the Mental Capacity Act.”

Well I thought I'll update my situation, unfortunately with all the stress and hardship I had a stroke on 19 November, my sons cared for my wive the weekend and had to put her in a home while I was in hospital for five days.

On discharge from hospital, my wife spent 3 days in a home in Enfield, I waited till my elders son finished work and the three of us went to the home to see her, at first I could not recognise her and asked my son where is she, he pointed to some woman pulling her trouser bottoms up, my son bought her some new closing to where, she was not use to wearing trousers so she was trying to pull it up.

I could not recognise her at all, the mind boggles, she was in a terrible state, to horrific to talk about, I just had to remove her from that place immediately, thanks to the taxi driver who had patients to wait, could you imagine the nightmare I put myself in, with half of my body numb and feeling like a block of wood.

Dear Colin,  I am so sorry that you have had to go through this. It must have been a nightmare, although at least they didn't try to stop you from taking her home.  So no interference at the moment.

But you are going to have to get some help.  Otherwise you are going to finish up incapacitated, if not worse.  And then what will happen to her?

I know you don't want to ask for help, and I understand why, but it is now a Must I'm afraid.

Hi Eleanor, thanks for answering my post. Well I wish it was as easy as that but the reality is something totally different, my son had to get a social worker to help him find a home when I was in hospital for that few days at short notice, the social worker seem to be efficient even though she was an African not living in the area, I have nothing against Africans but surely I have been contributing towards the system since I was 15 when I started my first job, never however needed any help in my life up to now and the best Edmonton can offer me is a social worker living out of the area and don't know what I'm talking about.

Anyway she had us filling all the forms required could not do it myself my elder son came down to help me do it while she was here, few weeks when by and she turn up to say that she was going to put another social worker on our case that was experience with brain injury for the benefit of my wife, I could see the logic in that an agreed.

Another several weeks when by waiting for help, then the new social worker, another African lady who doesn't live in the area and don't know the homes in the area, introduce herself and my son had to fill in another stack of forms, I said we had just filled one lot in, her reply was it was another department we need ours filled in for our department, and vanished for another few weeks.

She phone me a couple of times on the phone and asked me have I decided on the homes she offered three of the worse homes in the area, I told her one of them nearly kill my mother-in-law they had to bring the priest in to give her the last rites, we had to move her out of that home and she survive for another year in a half. She certainly expect us to be running around, my wife that cannot do anything, myself having a stroke on my left side haven't help me because I'm left-handed, she said she was going to call me back soon, after another several weeks she decided to call and told me that she was a trainee social worker and she may be finishing the training soon, I was totally shocked, I said, I thought you was a social worker that covered brain injury patients, she said nothing.

Since my stroke on November 19, I have not received any help at all, hardly any communication with the social workers to see how am I managing.

Can you somehow afford some Home Help?  Just to do the cleaning and such like.  Have you asked?  Even incompetent, out of area Social Workers must have some idea of how to go about this.  And possibly even get some small amount of funding.

I honestly can't think of anything else to suggest.  But you shouldn't be left to cope with this alone.
