Other Related Cases to the White House Farm Murders
« on: July 05, 2012, 09:54:55 AM »
Sadly the murders of the Bamber family in August of 1985 were not the first of this kind and they probably won't be the last. There have been cases both past and present that have striking similarities to the Bamber case. The perpetrators even seem to share similar characteristics. Moreover, a common thread for the murders appears to be greed and/or to escape any kind of parental control on their wayward lifestyle.

Please feel free to leave your comments and thoughts on these links.

The first case is that of Dane Ewell. This episode is in one part.

The second is the Case of Brian Blackwell. This episode is in six parts
             http://youtu.be/fFC1vEcKnJI

The third case is that of the Porco family. This episode is in six parts

The fourth case is that of Steven Benson. This episode is in one part.

The fifth case is that of Ronald DeFeo and the infamous 'Amityville Horror'. This episode is in six parts.

The sixth case is that of Seth Gonzales. This episode is in one part.

The seventh case is that of Ernie Scherer.  This episode is in one part.

I will add to the list as and when I come across similar cases.

Another fascinating case of a similar nature is the Sebastian Burns /Atif Rafay's murder of the Rafay family in the USA. They were eventualy caught in Canada by a fabulous police sting operation. Anyone who thinks Bamber is an arrogant, callous killer  should watch the Sebastian Burns youtube clips .... I have never seen anyone quite so arrogant!

Absolutely David. A greedy psychopath will see others as a mere obstacle to them gain what they believe to be rightly theirs. A chilling scenario.

Agreed Tim. I have just watched a few clips. The overbearing arrogance is immediately apparent. It seems to be a common thread amongst these people. What they fail to understand is that other people can detect this. One flaw that a psychopath has is the total inability to empathise - to know what others are feeling or seeing. They are also very poor at self analysis. They cannot detect flaws in their own characters believing themselves to be always right and will often, and without shame extol their own virtues. Hence the over-bearing and often obnoxious arrogance.

You have got it a little bit wrong, Mertol. It is HIS ADOPTED SISTER Sheila who is the scapegoat. Sadly, she cannot defend her reputation and so it is up to others to stick up for her .

I think JB is a classic example of someone with a narcissitic personality. Brian Blackwell who killed his parents is listed as someone with it and JB is as close as I think I can get to a comparable person.

Mertol are you serious?? How on earth can Jeremy Bamber be considered as a 'scapegoat'?
I understand that you believe him to be innocent. That is your right and I respect that, but I feel you have lost any sense of balance here. I would love to hear your arguments to back-up that statement. I do get the feeling that if his murder spree was caught on tape and witnessed by a hundred people and a signed confession you still wouldn't believe it. The old saying  'there are some men you just cannot reach' seems very appropriate here.

Mertol, please put forward the points which you think makes Jeremy bamber innocent of the murders.
Please commence. I am all ears.

Blackwell was actually convicted of manslaughter because of his Narcisistic Personality Disorder. The police and the CPS readily agreed to this because he is quite obviously not right in the head. I bet a pound to a penny Bamber fits all the criteria for NPD!
