The dogs indicate death behind the sofa and the body moved and hidden in the wardrobe. Then exit to the balcony where Eddie was sniffing. He wasn't interested in the patio door but outside the parent's bedroom so that is the most probable exit. Jez turning up unexpectedly could connect with a move to the flower bed. This is what the dogs showed us not slamming doors. Matt would have noticed a draft had that window been open and no invisible abductor passed through it.

You are wrong in your assumptions all way through.

Wrong about the dogs indicating death behind the sofa.  Blood was indicated There and a guest in that flat after the Mccanns had had a bad shaving accident causing him to bleed profusely.

No body to be moved anywhere, so WRONG again.  Why make it up as you go along?

So poor old Jez must take the rap for Madeleine supposedly being moved to the flowerbed? *&*%£

The dogs showed us NOTHING of the sort.  Do you mean it that YOU STILL dont understand that the dog alerts proved NOTHING.

I really cannot believe that after all the hard work by several very clever people on here proving it.  Proving it Over and Over again, you still do not understand the dog alerts and that they proved nothing

Don't underestimate the dogs. Their job is to show the way. Eddie is trained to find human death in missing people cases. The reason the dogs came to PDL was to investigate possible death and their alerts indicated it. If you haven't noticed cadaver dogs are back in PDL for one reason to find the body.

THe dogs did very well but there were NO FORENSIC CONFIRMATION, so their markings meant NOTHING as far as the possible death of Madeleine was concerned

Seem you still dont understand.

That was Amarals problem too.  He didn't understand ... or he chose not to.

Yes, that is the 6 Million dollar question. Why did they cover up and change stories. And why do you suppose that the disappearance of your daughter did not register your exact whereabouts what you did, what you wore, who you spoke to, what took place that day?

During interviews with elderly armed service personnel who fought during the second world war-THEY can give accurate details of not only a day when someone close to them died, but the week before and week later! with detailed description without faltering..and here you have bumbling ,mumbling doctors who don't remember that fateful day? Just too ridiculous to the intelligent thinker.

If you don't lie you don't have to remember!

As the abductor was probably warned if someone was coming it would be quite easy for the person to slip back out through the front door and wait until the person has gone.

A text message was exchanged at 9.25pm when two of the McCanns’ holiday pals left their dinner in a tapas bar to check on the group’s children who were asleep in the nearby apartments.

You are aware that texts are not guaranteed, and may be delayed. Not very safe as a critical communication method.

The window could also have been opened to distract from the fact the abductor had a key to the front door.

I agree that madeleine would have been taken out of the door, by whoever took her out.
I did think that maybe she was passed out of the window, but there is no way of knowing as yet.

The bedroom curtains were closed when Kate found Madeleine missing (according to her book), so if she was passed out through the window the curtains would have had to been opened wide to allow passage, then closed again from the inside.
Were the bedroom curtains ever tested for DNA?

According to several experts it a simple operation....takes just a minute and I posted it yesterday

So in other words you haven't thought out a theory of your own and are reliant on the word of "several experts" who say what you want to hear?
The trouble with "experts" is there is always another one with an opposing view, which why courts don't like them very much.
So how did the abductor enter or how the child exit? . One or the other happened and frankly young man "cos it did"  isn't really a convincing argument.
I will leave it you don't have a clue how it happened and your total argument is "it just did cos this bloke said it did" and that is what you wish to believe.
Were there a convincing argument for abduction that does not shapeshift every few weeks I would probably believe it, but unfortunately, however it is dressed up, the abduction theory remains speculation.

I asked a question last night which met with the usual banal response from the opposition.
Were the curtains in Madeleine's BEDROOM ever tested for DNA?

Why don't you ask the PJ yourself ?

My apologies in assuming that the PJ were there to look at every option. What a waste of time fingerprinting the window sill & handle was, then.
I can see that the bedspread from the bed under the window was tested, but not the curtains, so I was hoping that one of the more intellectual posters who know the files could point me in the right direction.

I have renamed this topic since it raises some very interesting points about the bedroom patio door possibly being used as an escape route.

Hi Misty, Hope this helps.....No curtains were forensically tested until after the dogs came in. The parents room and Lounge was then tested.
The Portuguese forensic police used a lamp that shows up blood and other body fluids resulting in the bedspread next to the window in kiddies room showing positive. It was sent for analysis a it was suspected to be semen. but was proved to be the saliva of a child.
The GNR who first arrived at 5A searched the apartment with no regard to disturbing evidence, which they admitted. The bedding was all sent to the laundry after the initial inspections. There was many people in the apartment that night.....so lots of DNA.

Please correct any errors I may have made in this post
