no one has to demonstrate or is able to...anyone who talks about demonstrating innocence is plainly barmy....Barry George...despite all the hours in court still has not demonstrated his innocence... Colin Stagg could not demonstrate his innocence...as I said ..plain barmy

Like the majority of reasonable people the point of view taken by the authors would be innocent until proven guilty for everyone concerned ... as far as I can understand this means no-one has to prove their innocence it is the prosecution job to prove guilt ...

Unfortunately in this age of social media it now seems one only has to write a book full of unfounded accusation as Dr Amaral did to turn that on its head as far as some are concerned.

Write a researched study of the same events blaming or exonerating no-one and these same people will unleash a whirlwind on your head.

It has been noted that Summers and Swann would very likely be appalled by the horrific level of abuse directed at The McCanns after their book was released.  They cannot have known beforehand just how bad it is.

It is very clear that abuse and hatred has come from people on either side of the case.

Are Summers and Swan aware of the behaviour of some mccann supporters in this regard.

Posters on other Forum, Stephen.  Never this Forum.  And I have never seen the same sort of abuse from McCann Supporters as has been seen from some Sceptics.

What is going on at the moment is nothing to do with this place, so please stop trying to suggest that it is.

You have been offered nothing less than the right to your opinion, which has never overstepped the mark.  Less so than some.
I have even been pleased by your efforts to offer an opinion, even if it isn't mine.  This is what we all want.
