do you not think we all have our own opinions

Hmmm. I think everyone has their own opinions, some just keep more on message.

Please elucidate.  There seems to be an implication in what you've written but I'd like you to explain further before I jump to conclusions.

On the very rare occasion that I have seen anything even remotely unpleasant from a supposed McCann Supporter, I have only hoped that they aren't McCann Supporters, and I have said so.

I make no excuses for their behaviour, although I expect that I could if I wanted to.

We all have our own opinions and act on them...it's as simple as that...you are no different to anyone else

It's part of the entrenched positions, some on either side find it difficult to express opinions that are less supportive of guilt or innocence.

But you're above that I suppose!

There are no excuses for threats of physical violence and/or intimidation, under any circumstances.

Unfortunately, cases like this do seem to bring out the worst in some people.

I will make just one observation ... there were those who organised a campaign to prevent the CW programme featuring Madeleine McCann's case being aired on BBC.

When that campaign failed ... they organised a campaign to tie up the information phone lines to the CW desk.

These people by their actions do not want Madeleine McCann found ... particularly if she is alive and well.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

 8@??)(

Just what is going on, that people deliberately make concerted and organised efforts to try and prevent Madeleine being found.

JUST WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON ?

Unfortunately there are thousands of people that do not believe the Mccann's story. People intelligent enough to see that there is very little evidence to support the abduction claim. Its not that these people wish for Madeleine not to be found, its that they wish for whoever is responsible for her disappearance to be brought to justice.

Why should it be unfortunate ?  Seems a perfectly reasonable view to hold

I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.

Sorry,I had meant 'unfortunately' for those that believe the Mccann's totally innocent of any wrongdoing. It is totally wrong imo to accuse these people of not wanting Madeleine to be found. They just want the truth of what happened to her and those that truly care about this child should want the same. Whatever that truth may be!
