How can anyone safely say there is no threat to the McCanns or the twins?  In light of the fact that there have been numerous expressions of violence towards them and suggestions to kidnap the twins discussed on social media, and that their home address is well-known in certain circles (some of these circles number 20,000 individuals or more) as is the name of the children's school, how can anyone say with absolute certainty that there isn't someone out there with a real desire to do physical harm to this family?  Should we as concerned members of the public all just hope for the best and turn a blind eye to these threats whoch appear regularly on social media?  Would that be the moral and legally correct  thing to do?

The out of school activities they take part in are also discussed on social media platforms.

That there have been serious on line 'chats' about the best place on his jogging route to kidnap their father to take him off to ... what???

Similarly on line discussion has taken place on routes run by their mother where there might be a secluded enough alley to pull her into.

  ... and there are those who think there is no harm intended to the twins.  What planet are they on?

The case originated when someone abducted Kate and Gerry McCanns daughter.

Do you think they are not entitled to protection under the law?   And if they are not, then why not?

the McCanns children can never have a facebook page or any other sort of online presence in their real names without the absolute certain knowledge that they will be stalked and monitored by the McCann obsessives.  Any curiosity they may have about their sister's disappearance which results in them surfing the net for information will result in thousands upon thousands of hits to their parents describing them as s..m, child neglectors, killers, criminals, money grabbers, fraudsters, swingers, paedophiles etc.  Their rights have been totally violated by the online hate mob.  Their best course of action for those children is to avoid using the internet for the rest of their lives.  How sad for them to be denied the right to use the web without being subjected to a lifetime of stalking and intrusion and fear and loathing.
