why  do  people let  people upset them online?? mcann supporters  say horrible  things about me i dont care   people can say what they  like

Just imagine for a moment ... you go to the local supermarket with your children or a neice or nephew … some anonymous person posts derogatory comment on the internet reporting having seen you there.

You go to the gym … some anonymous person posts derogatory comment on the internet reporting having seen you there.

You go to your child’s parents’ evening or some other event … some anonymous person posts derogatory comment on the internet reporting having seen you there.

These anonymous people were observing you going about your private daily life ... you didn't know they were ... and they chose to post about the encounter with graphic detail about what they wished they could do to you.

Would you be happy about that … or would you feel your personal security was being compromised?

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

I'm sure Carly would be perfectly OK with all of that, well she'll pretend to be anyway, for the sake of her position in the argument.

Just imagine for a moment.......

The mccanns had taken proper care of their children, had employed a babysitter and had left their children in locked accommodation.

Now there's a thought........  8)-)))

Now there is a thought indeed ... nothing at all to say about an intruder entering the premises ... not by the unlocked door, not even Dr Amaral claims that ... and abducting a small child.

Another thought ... isn't it about time you got over it? ... it has cost you nothing ... but it has cost Madeleine's parents unmeasurable anguish.

Evidence or Proof of intruder?

Rhetoric doesn't count.

I only hope no more parents do what they did, in their stupidity.

Don't think ad hominem attacks really add much to the forum old chap.

I read a very sensible post on another forum and I don't think the commenter would object to me re-posting it here

""If the girl hadn't walked down that street, she wouldn't have been raped.
If the man hadn't gone out on the town he would never have been murdered.
If mothers spent every moment with their child there wouldn't be millions of child abuse photos on the internet.
If they hadn't have gone out in the car no one would have had an accident".

If Madeleine hadn't been abducted, there wouldn't be a spawn of pseudo-"Solomons" insisting Kate and Gerry had harmed her and orchestrated an elaborate cover-up ...

Well never have been afraid of taking it and dishing it out, that apology is about as insincere as one could imagine.
If Alf cut out ad hominem attacks and snide comments he would remain a "newbie". It is you see his whole ethos....she said stating the bleedin' obvious.

Not just of interest to those who may have been trolling the McCann family ... but a welcome deterrent for those who take it upon themselves to stalk anyone at all.
Definitely a long overdue victims' charter.

Internet trolls to face up to two years in jail

Internet trolls will face up to two years in jail under tough new laws proposed by Justice Secretary Chris Grayling.

The previous maximum term of six months will be quadrupled under the plan to tackle the "cowards" who post abusive comments online.

Mr Grayling said the plan was a signal of his determination to "take a stand against a baying cyber-mob".

The move comes just days after the threats directed at Chloe Madeley after she stepped in to defend her mother Judy Finnigan's controversial comments about footballer and convicted rapist Ched Evans.

The Justice Secretary told the Mail on Sunday: "These internet trolls are cowards who are poisoning our national life."

and someone on the other side of the debate also got rape threats, apparently.

Well, well, well it appears, according to the Times, that it WAS the McCanns who handed the 'troll' dossier over to the police.

So who gave it to the media ?
Brietta posted on 10/04/2022 “But whether or not that is the reason behind the delay I am certain that Brueckner's trial is going to take place.”

Let’s count the months, shall we?
