And a large number of the latter have no problem whatsoever with the actions of the former, in fact many of them interact quite happily with the threat-makers whilst ignoring the more extreme threats and oh-so-hilarious satirical images, etc.

........and the number of mccann supporters who are threat-makers, make offensive posts,and post oh-so-hilarious satirical images.

I have.  A few idiots, but I cannot really see what you are complaining about.  If you want to discuss this you are going to have be more specific.  By PM if you like.

I think I am getting the picture.
The grass cutters* who grass cut the grass cutters are just a few idiots but the grass cutters are really terrorists who are actually going to to take action "with extreme prejudice"  the opinion being made on the basis of a few screwball posts that are no more screwball than the posts made made by the  grass cutters who grass cut the grass cutters. Well I suppose that makes sort of sense.

You want statistics?  I'd say approaching 100% of McCann "sceptics" fail on a regular basis to challenge those that post vile satirical images of the McCanns, the snider insults and the death threats.  If I'm wrong then feel free to post here all the McCann sceptics' tweets  challenging  the tweeter who made the threats I posted on here earlier and I will revise my estimate accordingly.

I am talking about McCann "sceptics" who use social media specifically, people who tweet and facebook their abuse (of whom there are thousands) - if that's not you then your conscience is clear innit?

When a group of people get together every day to pour scorn and vitriol on another and it soon becomes the norm, then it usually doesn't take long before the hate group are egging each other on to say more and more hateful things, sometimes this will include threats of violence.  If you are a part of this group then you have to take a certain amount of responsibility for what is said and done if you stay quiet about it, even if you disapprove of some of what is said.  McCann "sceptics" who say they do not hate or abuse but only question are generally very quiet indeed when it comes to challenging the hate and abuse of others - why is that I wonder?
