everything in your post is pure, malicious, speculation...
Faithlilly is assuming you have to be "rabid" to be concerned about the safety and well-being of the McCann family, it seems.  And why shouldn't there be a connection between whichever supporter(s) of the family compiled the dossier and the MCanns themselves?  What is wrong with that in principle I wonder...?  Most odd.

Beneath you, Faith

They had the press camped out on their return from portugal
They had press people and cameramen banging on the doors of their car when they were leaving the house I seem to recall.

There are descriptions of the press banging on the roof of the car to capture a startled expression on camera ... there was no consideration given that the twins were passengers in the vehicle.
Oh, snap.

Then that is inexcusable but it could be argued they reaped what they had sown ( that's certainly the opinion  what Jeremy Paxman put forward while interviewing Gerry ). Brenda Leyland stated her opinion as we on this forum do every day. Are we therefore also 'fair game' ?

Perhaps no gloating but certainly a smattering of righteous indignation !

absolutely not...Brenda was a very misguided lady with more than her fair share of problems...although her tweets were a disgrace I think she actually deserves pity

IMO there is nothing wrong with the McCann's compiling a dossier. Is that what happened?

Obviously you know more than the rest of us Davel. Pray tell what problems would they be, apart from not believing the McCanns ?

I agree Bert but we are told it wasn't the McCanns but supporters and there is definitely something wrong when the contents of that dossier is handed to the press when it is the subject of a police investigation.

Though of course the McCanns did have the benefit of a press handler.

The difference between stating an opinion on a forum and on twitter is that on here at least we are moderated and sanctioned if we make overly offensive and / or illegal posts.  There is no such restriction on twitter which leads people to write the most objectionable, libellous crap they feel like.  I get the sense from reading Brenda's tweets that she started off being fairly moderate and careful and reasonable in her tweets but by the end she had totally lost any inhibitions.  Sad - really sad.

Again what were Brenda's problems ?

Being alone...that is...divorced...estranged from her son...another son living on the other side of the world...to commit suicide because of what happened with Brunt is far from normal behaviour and suggests underlying problems

In that case, which tweet do you consider to be her worst?
