A brief reminder, yet again.

Brenda Leyland was not being investigated by the police.

She shouldn't have been making those 'unpleasant' tweets, and that applies to any person, either side of the divide.

She can't be charged posthumously.

However, that won't stop some people, and those who continue  with the attacks in the media or elsewhere are trolls  as much as they claim her to be.

Just leave her family in peace.

Well I guess Brenda Leyland doesn't have to answer to the unpleasant folk on here, or the pleasant ones either.

no need to look it up...it means someone or something's to blame...that was the question put to you.

Who initiated the chain of events that led to her death ?

If Brenda had been proud of her "cyber-warrior" exploits and had had the encouragement and support of friends and family then she would probably still be here today.  The question her fellow online sceptics must ask themselves is - why she felt it necessary to end her life (if that is indeed what happened) if she truly believed she was pursuing a just and noble cause such as "Justice 4 Maddie"?

Required reading to enable an better understanding of the law of the land.

Malicious Communications Act 1988 section 1
(This is the wording of this section as amended by Section 43 Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001. It applies to offences committed from the 11th May 2001 onwards)

Communications Act 2003 section 127
(Came into force 25th July 2003 replaced  s43 Telecommunications Act 1984)

You tell me should cover both your queries.

Ah.....right........Required reading on the law of the land for whom?..........

For the authorities responsible for investigating what you feel were criminal acts by Ms Leyland and others over a number of years which were not being dealt with?

7 years worth, you reckon?...........

A dossier was compiled to serve as a reminder to the Police to shape up and do their job, in effect,...........since the twitter material was already available for them to access?

Dragging their heels, were they...........so let loose the press?

*tuts*...........Such lawless lynch-mobbery !

Martin Brunt, lawless lynchmobbery?

Interesting.

I don't recall such outraged howling when he was reporting on 100% DNA match to Madeleine from the Renault Scenic ...
