If they have kept her alive this long and in the protected and priviledged [in some ways] way that i think they have, then she is part of "the familly.  And I dont think they would bump her off after 7 years

In any case blood lines are everything to these people.  I think she may well be of the same blood line as someone they worship.  They will protect her and keep her hidden at all costs IMO

Only IMO, I might add, but pointers.

In all this time, you have not bothered to read my posts.

I believe and have a multitude of pointers that the Mastermind behind this (and the other stranger abductions in PT) is an elite

If the gardener, burglars and refuse collectors are involved at 5A, then they were commisioned, paid help ... or doing it for a cause they profoundly believe in.  I doubt that my man was anywhere near 5A when it happened .... unless he was on "fag end" balcony directing things ... but I doubt that .

I cant wait to see Redwoods final report and how he justifies the huge costs incurred on this witchhunt.

There are people who know the cost of everything ... and the value of nothing ...

What sort of person is it who calls the search for a missing child and the perpetrators of the heinous crime of taking her ... a witch hunt?

Shameful!
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

The laughs are at your pointers and absurd theories.

As to the bloodlines, you're as bad as a certain party on stm.

If she'd been run over, wouldn't there have been a screech of brakes? If the driver hadn't stopped until further on, wouldn't there have been traces left behind?

Not in a low speed environ.   A kid can be knocked down and killed without leaving any visible traces.

Me for one because that is exactly what it is and whats more the butcher the baker and uncle Tim Cobbly would agree.  Since neither you I or SY dont even know if a crime was committed your argument is a bit academic.

I think you will find that both SY and PJ believe that a crime has  been committed.  And both forces have ruled out the McCanns & co. as the perpetrators of that crime.

So if SY are conducting a witchhunt - then the PJ team must be doing same.   Why and against whom?

The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

Do you agree Benice that it is not out with the realms of possibility that since voicing his opinion that the McCanns were not persons of interest or suspects, information could have come into his team that puts the McCanns more firmly in the frame ?

I have some sympathy with Mat as to it being a bit of a witchhunt.  The damage being done to those innocent witnesses in Praia da Luz can never be imagined.  Just put yourself in their shoes for a minute.  You happen to be a Luz resident and used your phone on the night Madeleine disappeared and now you are being suspected of having been involved in her abduction. WTF?
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

Absolutely, and that is why I find the woke and wandered theory to be so compelling.  A child of three hit by a car will sustain head trauma since their head is at the same height as a cars bumper/bonnet.  Blood loss does not always occur in blunt force RTA's so that would explain why no trace was found.

The speed of traffic on the streets adjacent to Ocean Club Garden complex was probably about 20 mph so screeching brakes is a non starter.

Indeed, it is truly pathetic.

SY and others appear to be looking for easy targets to blame.

I think it's a bit of an assumption to say they are definitely being suspected of involvement.   It could also be that these folk are considered to be people who were not involved themselves, but could have information which might give a clue to who was involved.

It's not uncommon for loads of 'innocent' people to  be interviewed when a crime is committed.   The Yorkshire Ripper case is one example IMO  where IIRC hundreds of people who turned out to be uninvolved were interviewed - some more than once.    I don't recall any of them suffering any 'damage' because of it.

AFAIK most people regard this as normal policing procedure in cases like this.
