b) The conclusion of a distracted, inexperienced co-ordinator after 3 days on the case

You are wrong about the McCanns visiting Sagres. That was a myth perpetrated by a tabloid article and long ago debunked and as Sagres is many miles from PDL there is absolutely nothing to tie the photographer ( even if his motives were nefarious ) to Madeleine's disappearance.
