Extract from the final summary of the AG's report:

…. Therefore having considered the foregoing, I order:

… b) Filing of the papers concerning the suspects Gerald Patrick McCann and Kate Marie Healy, as there is no evidence that they committed any crime defined by Article 277.1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure".

Who knows!

Perhaps, if learned Portuguese judges declare that the McCanns have won the libel trial before the end of March, perhaps Sonia will have second thoughts about telling this "untold story" ....

Appeals (including in Portugal!) must have some basis in law.

When you've accused someone (or a couple!) of causing the death of their own daughter, covering it up, disposing of her body and knowingly launching a fraudulent "fund" in their dead daughter's name, and there is not a shred of evidence to support any of it, what possible basis of an appeal could there be?

I just don't see it.

Even in Portugal, much more prone to allowing appeals than in England (a strictly neutral comment, not a criticism of the Portuguese judicial system) ...

I just don't see it!

not long to wait...as you have pointed out it is very difficult to win a libel trial in Portugal so if the McCanns do...as I expect...it will be  a massive humiliation for amaral...appeal or no appeal...a judgement in favour of the McCanns will be massive

An on the spot verdict in favour of The McCanns will do me.  I am not all that interested in Appeals, presuming there would be a valid reason for such.

And Miz Poulton might think twice, although I don't much care about that either.  She is perfectly at liberty to make a fool of herself if she so wishes.  Because there is no untold story.

I watched about half a dozen of her videos overnight and also the 3 part Icke story.

It was to try and understand what makes this young woman tick really.

Except for the fact that she likes an argument, I am none the wiser, but she writes better than she speaks, apparently.
