Probably not, but success will depend  upon looking in the right direction.
To date, it would appear that neither police force have  managed to do this.

I tend to agree with this also.  Or through a stroke of luck.  Some mysteries are destined to remain unsolved, despite the best efforts of the best investigative officers, it isn't necessarily a poor reflection on their abiliities, it's just the way it is but that doesn't mean that they should never have bothered investigating in the first place.

Of course, you are correct, jassi ...as yet there has been no significant findings, that we know of, by the police.

However, If Ms Poulton, has looked in the right direction and has information that would help solve the mystery, of Madeleine’s disappearance, would she not be withholding evidence, if she did not disclose that information, when it was made available to her?

What occurred to me last night was that all the "sceptics" who have gone on a justice crusade to Rothley have come unstuck one way or another.  Bennett, Butler, Leyland...I wonder if Poulton will come unstuck too?  Time will tell..

Information is not necessarily evidence - one of our posters on here has apparently bombarded SY with information, yet it has not resulted in apprehension of the miscreant.

There is also the possibility that any information she has is not actually unknown, but that she is looking at it from a different perspective to the police, as investigative journalists often do.

Bennett has bombarded the Met with his investigations and that has not resulted in any arrests either.  Perhaps his investigations just weren't thorough enough, eh?
