And besides I think it's common knowledge that Lusa got their ( incorrect ) information straight from Isabel Duarte.

first it's not common knowledge and secondly who says it's incorrect....both the amaral version and the Lusa version sound the same but with a different spin.

It matters little where it came from, what is important is the content.  Anne was honest enough to admit that she was refused a copy by the clerk, many wouldn't have divulged that ditty.

I don't see your point as I don't see where I've said anything to the contrary.

The clarification from Anne, via Faithlilly, was that the document wasn't read out in court. And apparently no one from the media was present.

If the document wasn't under judicial secrecy (and I don't see why it would be), then the media could presumably request a copy in order to report on it.

We'll all know soon enough what the judge's rulling is.

In this instance, I don't see what Anne has to do with this. She reported on what was allegedly said in court - which apparently didn't include the document of proven / unproven facts.

So those came from elsewhere. It's hardly rocket science Carana.

I never said that that document did come from Anne and therefore I don't see why I'm in the cross-fire over it. LOL

The media (and Astro) somehow got hold of copies.

It would seem that way.

It would seem that way.

If as is suggested, it is true documents were handed only to advogados then that narrows it down a bit.

Gosh what are you suggesting?
I was referring to whom the documents were given officially as it were outside of court officials.
Oh sh*t I forgot this is Portugal we are talking about; that member state of the EU that has a lawless hinterland and a population that is entirely bent. Gimme strength.

If Mr Amaral is content that his financial future will be secured when the judge reaches her decision ... why does the appeal to finance him through public conscription continue?

There have been various financial episodes with payment of fees since 2009, I believe.
If one presumes that his various lawyers were paid when he and they parted company ... if one had access to an audited account it could be determined exactly how much remains in his fund for legal expenses ... and be able to make an informed assessment of how the public subscriptions were being used and if continuation was required.

Whatever ... it seems that if and when Mr Amaral is allowed access to his own finances... he intends to hang onto them tenaciously.

On the other hand ... is the renewed appeal an indication he as certain of success as he states?

A period for legal allegations ensues, after which we will await the verdict, which I envision will translate into my longed for acquittal and the consequent lifting of the attachments that have caused me such extensive financial difficulties over the past five years. This means that it has been only due to your help that I have been able to financially sustain the ongoing lawsuit,

I wonder if the judge took note of him lying about his finances, to get legal aid.

I wonder if the judge took note of him lying about his finances, to get legal aid.

If that was the case, one would hope that it was noted, but who knows, what will be taken notice of, when the judge is only ruling on the allegations of the McCann family.
