Please do not underestimate the job the mods do on this forum of providing a level playing field and allowing all points of view a fair hearing until you have experienced posting in the equivalent of a jungle where those who pay lip service to freedom of speech are on a mission to ensure no viewpoint but their own is allowed.

The intolerance apparent on Amazon is highly indicative of cult behaviour where none but the true believers are considered 'worthy' ... having experienced it elsewhere it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that it has become a vehicle to dictate how people should think, and if that is not to the liking of the powers that be, it just will not be tolerated.

Intolerance hardly.

The Amazon forum is moderated

It has merely demonstrated quite amply, that when there is a level playing field mccann supporters can't debate.

THAT IS THE TRUTH brietta

He selected HIS theory.    He was replaced because he slagged off the British Police.    That didn't stop him though did it,  he was determined his theory wouldn't be ignored,  so he wrote a book about it.     How can you ignore a book that says you are a liar and that you drugged and hid the body of your child?    Would you have ignored it if you were the McCann's?

Do you really believe that?

I attempted to post where there were allegedly moderators ... indeed those who had appropriated moderator privileges exercised them to their full extent ... and you are absolutely correct when you say that "... mccann supporters can't debate" for the reason that it simply is not allowed.
Level playing field?? most definitely not!
A playing field where we were the ball ... you better believe it!

If there is another forum on the internet where free debate is the norm as on this one I have yet to find it ... so very obviously if, as you say, the Amazon forum is moderated, they are not terribly good at it and could take a leaf out of our moderators' and the owner's book.

Intolerance is indicative of cult behaviour.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Yes,  as he admits it,  he doesn't use the words slagged off of course.

Thank You, Brietta.  But a waste of time, I fear.  Stephen thinks that the Mods who support The McCanns are biased. But the Mods who are sceptics are totally fair.  Which they are, of course.

But Admin knows the truth of the matter.  Unless Stephen thinks that Admin is in favour of Biased Moderating.

Not sure if this is Cultist or Paranoia.

You keep making excuses brietta.

There is no intolerance.

You are making excuses.

However, it is well known where the true cults are in forum land.

and when you say they are 'not terribly good', what that really means is that they don't toe the mccann line.

So anyone who donated to "The Fund" is a McCann supporter.
People who gave money to the Find Madeleine Fund were supporting Madeleine's parents to find their missing child.  People who have given money to the Gonc Fund are supporting Amaral's appeal to keep all his money (apart from Jean-Pierre who has donated to ensure a legal level playing field - I suspect he is in a very small minority of people who DON'T support what Amaral stands for but who have still given). Hope that's cleared that up.

Yes, as he admits it,  he doesn't use the words slagged off of course.

That is his version of events which you choose to believe?
There is a much more likely reason for being given a DCM on this case.

How are you pronouncing that?

I suppose the fact that the amaralites believe their master gonc...even though he tells a load of lies...makes it a cult...

Meanwhile dave, you are a born and bred mccannite, as your posts reveal,

and definitely a part of pro-mccann cult. 8(0(*

Just to clear the matter up once and for all is "Gonc" being pronounced "Gonth" "Gonss" or "Gonk" ?
