Except for a psychologist who interviewed him before the trial and came to the conclusion that if ever there was a psycopath Bamber most certainly was one? If you take the view that he is a psycopath it certainly makes things a lot easier to understand. Psycopaths are adept at manipulating people, a psychologist who interviewed Ted Bundy said he began to feel manipulated by him. Again, if you take the view that Bamber is a master manipulator it is hardly surprising that Jackie believes in him wholeheartedly following conversations with him. Perhaps I would be readily convinced if I were to spend time in his company. Perhaps John would....

Yes, I intend to assuming he will see me.   8(0(*

Have you ever written to him John? I hear he usually replies.

I think his supporters will warn him against seeing you-however, I think he might agree to it if he sees it as a challenge.

Yes, I have made the offer to him so time will tell.  God knows what they have been telling about us though.   @)(++(*

If it come to fruition I will ask everyone to compile a list of questions so that we can all be involved.

My first Question.

John: You did do it, didn't you Jeremy?

Jeremy: Yes, I have to admit I did do it!

A doctor and ambulance is called for John who's just collapsed in a heap with the shock of hearing the answer we've all been waiting 27 years for!!!

Jeremy to Screws: I can't understand it... I only told him that I burgled Osea Caravan Park!!!

********************************************************

(BTW -  how come everything always ends up under the wrong thread?)

It's one of them cases, in'it... one of them f*ckin' cases.

Joking aside guys, I get the distinct impression that some members don't want me to visit Jeremy.   Two have already intimated as much in their posts so I am wondering what the problem is?

Is there a good reason why I shouldn't visit Jeremy, assuming of course that he agrees to it?

Maybe it's a way of giving him the attention he thrives on, John. You're giving him oxygen. Personally, I'd spend the dosh involved on a nice meal, and let the b....r rot.

That's very true Shona and I can understand why that view is very valid.  I just felt that since we have all discussed the case in such depth for such a long time that he deserved the opportunity to respond to us directly.  To be perfectly frank though I don't believe he will allow it as he has up until now only had the faithful to visit.

I just don't think you're going to get any answers or more information out of him than what's in the public domain. I think he has a script and it's served him well for 25 years. Write to him and ask him things, I don't think he's going to give anymore up if he meets you face to face.
How many different legal eagles have been involved with him? He's still in the same place, spinning the same old, same old.
Shona is right.
You can't polish a shit.
