there is enough evidence to show the Portuguese police were totally incompetent. The sheets from maddie's bed were not thoroughly examined for dna and instead of being kept as evidence they were sent to the laundry...unbelievable....

the PJ inspected thebedding  for blood and body fluids, you will have to provide a cite that they sent it all to the laundry thenext day  though as many insist,do you have the cite or are you repeating gossip

any normal person Or police officer would question a sighting given of the most famous missing girl in the world at the  time whose face was on tv24/7 and their alledged abductor taking her to have a cappuccino inbroad daylight in a packed cafe, or taking her on a  packed airplane or just strolling into the nearest newsagent!
not a single photo of any sighting has looked like her enough. the one pasted around early on of the girl in a supermarket was pathetic as her hair was down go her bottom!

If you had taken time to read back you might have noticed that the cite provided by G-Unit covers the very point you make ... the McCann private investigators did indeed check out the sightings of children who might have been Madeleine.

So the investigators checked out all sightings and leads, including the Beckham lookalike ?

The sighting in the petrol station didn't pick up the child.    To me that sounded very much like Madeleine.

Then there was a sighting outside an hotel not far from the petrol station.
